i think it might have been because if a ferrett makes a kill to ground then it rests up wich means a dig and i know that that comes with the territory but if a dog makes the kill it can be trained to retrieve? or just called out. just an idea?? y.i.s. dan -

these fellas are into birds they said they regularly bolt bunnies for their harris' ill try an get some pics but i can remember seeing one and thinking tyhis fella had a fox cub on a lead. :11: dan -
ive seen a couple of fellas around my way with dogs that are absolutely tiny!! ive spoken to these fellas before so i asked about the dogs, one said to me they are jack russelxchiuawua (sp) and have been bread to use instead of ferretts they said they will do the buisness like?? and its taken 25 years to get the breeding right? anyone used or heard of these dogs before?? regards dan

just got back in, i got a night off work so decided to have a little look out with snagg-99 ive never been to this spek before but snagg has it was quite good when he went so i thought we'd be on for a storming night but we got there and saw a rabbit on the first field but... lampshy and shot straight off we walked round and saw near enough sweet F.A. but eventually we got a squater a way out from the edge we walked right up to it before it lifted and then that was it the chase was on after a course with a quick game of peek-a-boo around a tuft of grass and countless turns she nailed it!!

got stopped a while back at a local spek and accused of hare coursing by the keepers but that is something i would never take part in because its ***ned isnt it?? anyways got a letter today saying i am getting a caution and i need to ring up and go in to the station to process the matter further. what does this meen? the caution is for "trespassing in puruit of game" will this caution be the end of it or will anythin come of it???? regards dan

iya mate im no expert but it seems to me the rabbits will squat if its raining also try keeping him on the lead at first and let him watch the rabbits in the beam he should get on to it from that. your not too far away either i live in huyton maybe we could sort somethin out?? what cross is your dog? good luck dan

herd mixed feelings bout this my dog has been on heat for bout 4 days now and ive planned to gfo out thursday night, should i be running her as ive heard she will run better and also ive herd that she wont be any use??? what do people think aboiut this???? y.i.s danny

f*ck me theres more testosterone in here than a body builders g-string!!! the only thing id say is sbs be carefull when approaching them if you do catch them unawer u may catch something else im sure people will agree if you are on someone elses permission and you are approached 9 times out of ten your just gona lay him out! see if you can get the farmer to go with as some back up just in case youve seen on this thread how agressively terrier men can react (no offense ment to anyone!!) just be carefull!! good hunting dan

is it the proper three peaks like ben nevis scafell pike and snowdon in 24hours?? it shouldnt be too much for him but there may be some areas that are near enought treaturous (sp!) for him?? regards dan
