    hi i would go with chicken eggs first them when ready spend the money on what ever you like heres a good page to start as it gives you the temps and times of diffrent breeds of birds . and you need to turn the eggs to or three times aday so may be easyer to get a automatic incubator.m http://www.msstate.edu/dept/poultry/hatch.htm#inc

    im just wondering if it allready has one as mines quite sharp and sensitive on the old trigger. iv seen someone selling one here so io may give it a go .does any have a good idea on how much it costs to fit one? plus as i understand it u can cock ur rifle ready weather its a spring or not . u judt dont leave it ready for any period of time? .m

    hi all i recently swap a rifle for some nets and was wondering the same thing so iv scouted about and found that a plant stake is good thay start at 3ft upwards .there solid metal poles that have flex in them coverd in green plastic .there not heavey thay even have a moulded bit on top for ur line too and at 56p there a bargin even if thay ware to break.m

    grab your sef a landing net and try in the day take it with you when washing up or cleaning the house . it's like any animal if it senses fear it will play on it . the stig is right it's treating you as a hen and is trying to put u in your place . if you can find it in the day grab it at night or lock it up at night and then ull have him in the morning as soon as he realises he's not the boss of you the quicker you can get on with ur day without the fear of him attacking you . hope it helps but in the end if you dont kill it. it will die one day either a fox or old age will do

    he he he that vid was funny but all that waving about just made it mad so all it's doing is defending it's self all you have to do is pick it up take it under ur arm for half an hour aday and if when you put it down it starts to freak out pick it up and do it again untill he stops other than that ring it's neck . at the end of the day it's just doing what it should be doing .m

    me and a friend i share an alloment with was blessed with 16 new birds witch six ware male two came to live with me and four for the pot we would of gave them away but thee others had really bad scaly legs so we dicided to save them for the pot. im abit worryed that there not doing there job as thay seem to get bullied by the girls even my small pekin batam so thay may have to go too but theres will go to a good home if i did. and here are the boys in question

    duckwing you now what thay say about great minds . if you notice the blue box in the first pic iv allready got one in ready .once it strats drying up i'll put sum straw in it . my little whit pekin bantam is allready laying me an egg aday . if anyones got any ideas on how to stop the other chicks eating the eggs tho thatv would be great.m

    cheers for that fella iv done all the right things buy what ur saying thave bin wormed a good dieat of fresh greens mixed corn and layers pellets oh and meal warm . there is a perch in there but im thinking of changing it to 2 smaller ones and going the other way .there is a door it's just not in the pic for some reason . my birds follow me around so catching them isnt a prob and when it come to nite time thay seem to find there way back and tucked them selfs away .by the time i get to put them away.. if you look at the second pic you can see the perch it's the bar going throw th

    ok this is just a quick post to show you what could be put together in an afternoon . it.s a 2f w x 3.7"h x4ft long ok this was built with the worse selection of tools a hand saw witht a miter block cheapo from b&q hammer one drill with the shortest cord in the world and me some mite be tempted to say a i was the biggest tool .lol it looks a bit plain at the mo but thats my lads job at the weekend . ok you carnt really see in the pics as my hands ware to cold to pull it out is a window and a hook to hang it from for when the summers gets warm . i wanted a door at the b

    hi there and welcome to the world of chicken keeping im no expert but iv just built my second ark (as this sh++e is addictive .lol) all you need to think about is ? how many chicken small or large fowl how safe do thay have to be .i.e any cats or dogs that can get them weather you want it static or not now you will need 1 nest box for 5 birds but more the merryer a 3ftx4ft house will hold 4-5 large fowl or 6-8 bantams the simaplest house is just four walls and the nest boxes on the inside oh dont forget the roof and floor to .lol chickens need perches to rest and sleep

    nice iv bin looking at sum fertile eggs for me to hatch of the game veriaty or sum dorking . but at the mo iv got light sussex and ixworth eggs incubating so if all goes well i can have a mix and make my own version . but thanks for the input

    hi im in lincoln and it set at 11.3ftlb on exact pellets and 11.5ft lb with wasps i use the heavyer ones for rabbits and woodys and the light pellets for rats hense why i have it set at a lower ft just so i now it's under the 12ftlb it's a nice rifle .im open to sensible offers
