  1. my dog is 2 and half and still does it,also gets it bad on face and goes mental when i get home. he doesn't have soft pads either? just some dogs i reckon.
  2. i have a 5/8 3/8 collie/grey and he is a thick set 26 inch. i've seen big and small hancock
  3. my last dog was always game even at 13 before he had to be put down saluki/collie/deerhound/greyhound but he always used his brains cause he didn't like getting bit, he killed a lot of charlies over the years but never had many bite marks on him like some dogs have. don't think you can beat having both.
  4. as above mine has ripped one off so i had to tape it for a while, better off getting rid of them when pups imo
  5. try a rabbit skin on a ball in day time and get him used to it.
  6. read that years ago, did the monkey have a blade or something??? It was a plummer book anyway, i better duck now i've admitted to reading plummer books
  7. 8.3 ah i think. just divide 100w by 12v = 8.3ah then divide your 7ah battery by the 8.3ah and you get about 71 minutes . Hopefully.
  8. Don't know if you took the time to notice but they aren't long dogs are they, they are lamping dogs. If the lad wanted to course hares in the day he would have bought himself a long dog like you have presumably. Both good sports
  9. nice dog, should be good for everything.
  10. pro plan is a bit on the expensive side i used supadog puppy to bang the weight on mine and it was 29 % protein with plenty of oil about 11% i think, can't go wrong with it.
  11. If you call chasing up to it , turning it 4 times and taking it over brow and catching it in dark easy, how far do you run the dog for a hard catch?? I don't think some people on here know the differance between long dogs and typical lurchers, otherwise they wouldn't be slagging each other off. thers one dog for each day and night, and each to there own i say. nothing wrong with lamping a hare in my book .
  12. just buy a cheap one and try it, no harm done. i had one a few years ago and it said on box a lot of animals would hear it but don't know [bANNED TEXT] would bother them.
  13. Hardly any rabbits round here near bridlington but more hares than you could shoot. think it might be time to get a long dog and break some rules.
  14. thanks for the quick response, can try it out now.
