TOP LAD CAN BE TRUSTED 100 PERCENT MAN OF HIS WORD

  8. im sorry if it seems that way merlin, but im just giving my experince on them. i had a bull x greyhound a while back, raised it from a pup with my kids, he was great wee dog, came from very good foxing lines ect ect. one evening, 7 years ago, my nepfhew called round to have a game of footy with my son. they were having the craic ect, the bull x was in the garden with them. my nephew started clapping his hands, the dog ran up to him and nearly took his arm off, it took 3 of us grown men ( work mates) to get the dog off. the poor lad had to have the arm cut off, due to it being badly crushed to
  9. cus there in experienced hands who dont know how to control a bull cross im getting sick of the bull cross haters that are just to scared to own one
  10. i apologise then mate sorry agian, miss interprited the thread!!
  11. prick anti get off the site
  12. just a few quick shots, was walking past my pals with the dogs and he done um on his phone!!
  13. well yes they do, they get as big as other dogs but as they have bull in them the bones and head take longer tomature. its a good time till the head catches up with the body!!
  14. i aint an expert just my opinion, but bull crosses dont stop till there eighteen months and working them to hard before this will blow them, cus even from 6 months+ they will have the heart and the prey drive to work hard!! im not preaching its just i have had to learn the hard way ruining good dogs in myyouth and having them dy young!! but as always every dog is different i find the best method is let the dog tell you how mature it is cus mental matureness is very different to physical mature ness and at 10-12 months a bull cross is physically capable of takling all quarry, but is it mentall
  15. this young girl really nows her terriers have spoke to lads who have dug to this dog and he is 100% and throws some lovely pups kepp it up chick,
  16. true but depends on the cross bull crosses 18 months but smaller terrier crosses and whippet crossesmature earlier, every dog is different
  17. this is a good point, if a bitch has a season under her belt, when i say season i mean 20, 30 + digs under her belt, you should breed of her she obviously has what it takes and it would be silly to risk losing that blood in your lines or in the terriier gene pool generally, and now days i myself cant keep a good hard dog around me for more than 2-3 seasons as they become walking jail sentances. even if they are looked after 110%. the way we breed terriers is now determined by the times we live in. i would be happy to continue working these big stroing dogs as i know they would work all there l
  18. cant mate its illegal, so where an when !! only joking
  19. dont bother mate they are shit, save ya money and buy a bellmanand flint!!
  20. mate mate at the end of the day we do things differently over here. ya know england (sorry and ireland scotland and wales), the place where 90% of working terrier breeds originated, where the sport was homed. and as for the billy experts we are in the right country to find some, the older lads of course love the way people jump on opinions that differ from there own ha ha ha im sure it would have been fine to shoot the beast especially when small arms and firearms are so readily available over there!! or a nice bull cross to take control
