  1. We've only dig a bit of plot so not sure what's the rest is like,there is s strip were the previous tennet had wooden planks down to walk on so it might be compacted there
  2. I know that's rhubarb ? It's quite heavy in places it's got structure to it so the missus says I ain't got a clue ?

  4. Been at allotment and it looks like the previous tennet made a few concrete paths seperating each plot in total we have 8 good sized plots so not to bad,we also found a very good compost heap with good rotted compost in it?
  5. This was what it was like when we first got it,can't really do much now till we get skip.

Been down the allotment most of the weekend tidying up pulled a old green house down and another building that was full of spuds,got a skip coming at weekend for all the glass and other rubbish and a big pile of scrap metal. So it's getting there slow but sure. Anybody know what the tree is in the pic? Hopefully it's a fruit tree if some sort as where it is we have earmarked for a couple of apple and pear trees.

  9. Terry being serious some of the stuff you have grown over the last few years has been first class. I second that had a look at some old posts and terry agree with darbo you have grown some good stuff,if mine turns out as good as yours I'll be happy?

First things first thanks for the response and advice,I wanted the traditional way like my uncle use to do but the missus wanted growing plots that's why I asked on here,looking at the pics you guys know your stuff seriously,I think we will clear plot and gave a look at what we are dealing with but again guys thanks for advice and pics they was very hopeful....we are down there tomorrow tidying up so when it's done I'll get a few pics,thanks again lads?
  11. To all allotment holders when you plant your crops do you do them in rows the old traditional way or do you make little individual plots IE using wood slabs or grass, a few pics of plots would help as well so I can get a idea before putting work in and finding out I've done it wrong thanks?

  16. If I don't use mine I get chucked off,can't see the point in paying rent on a plot but never using it.

  18. No mate I don't sell them,the man in the know I was referring to was woodga he's the man to ask for snares.?
  19. True for the price of a collurum you can buy a few decent wires off a man in the know lol
  20. Try using ghost tealers they are good with a loaded snare and cheaper then collerium ?
