  1. HAd her outside on her own last night and she pissed on the opposite end of the paving from her kennel, nothing in the kennel so she's back onside for now.
  2. Thanks for taking the time to reply Skycat, much appreciated. When I'm home the bitch is out twice a day without fail for long walks and my missus does her best to get her out everyday when i'm away or let out the back if she is in the house but she just seams to go out the back door and into the kennel. I've brought the pup in and left the older dog out to see whether she will do anything in the kennel or on the paving area. If she goes in her kennel again then she will have to go, it's doing my head in and my lasses as it's her pet but she's too unpredictable at the moment. It had stopp
  3. Very good!!!! How long did it take you to think that one up??? If she carries on 'taking the piss' she will be looking for a new home!
  4. Any ideas why my lasses 2 year old Lakie bitch is doing her business in her kennel and not in the 'alley' between the house and the garden when the pup will happliy go in this bit?? Is it territorial as the pup is in season and she has been spayed? The kennel is only small aswell, 20" x 22", she either goes in her kennel or holds it in which, i think has caused her to pass blood! Sometimes after being out in the designated section of the back garden all day she has come into the house and pissed the width of the kitchen which is no good for any of us.....it's not too bad when i'm h
  5. My bitch will be about 14 months now mate.
  6. Nice looking terrier that mate, the pot model of my bitch. Hows yours bred? 'Gypo'
  7. Glad I found this topic as I was gonna post the same question as I came home to this last night. Both bitches feeling very very sorry for themselves, one with a limp and fat lug and the other with a golf ball under her chin an blood splatters all over....and one very upset lass and son!! The eldest bitch is very dominant and the pups stood up to her for a change so all hell broke loose, not a nice thing to see, especially for the baby and my lass. I'll see how they go and one more sniff of bother then they'll be seperated.
  8. CHEERS MATE,THEY DID BUT IT WAS A DIFFERENT GAME BACK THEN IT WASN'T AS COMPETITIVE AS IT IS TODAY,A 3 MIN RUN WAS NEVER HEARD OF,I HAVE AN OLD VIDEO SOMEWHERE OF ME OLD WHITE DOG FEATHER (3/4 SALUKI 1/4 GREY)RUNNING A HARE FOR 3 MINS A CATCHING IT....WHEN I TOLD SOME OF THE LADS THEY DIDN'T BELIEVE ME UNTIL THEY SEEN THE VIDEO,IT WAS BIGGER THAN WHEN RODGER BANNISTER BROKE THE 4 MINUTE MILE Ha ha ha ha ha Good pics, bet they brought back a few memories did they
  9. How's the pups doin Dev?? All good an well I hope.
  10. Alright Tony, glad to hear the pups doin alright. Hopefully hear more next season
  11. Yeah they do, your right but you can't see from the photo's if the dogs are really marked up or not. My mates black dog doesn't look particularly marked up as it has healed very very well in the past so it doesn't look like it's done much at all. I've not seen the parents work but a hunt terrierman's dogs WILL get worked wont they! Moorman1 has seen the pair of them work, i've no reason to doubt him or the fella I got the pup off......at the end of the day I'll see how the pup goes next season wont i and take it from there. I've seen one or 2 round Scatsta when passing through......it's like Craggy Island off Father Ted though. Your not thinkin of going are you????
  13. I'm sure they have BBB just because they aren't smashed up doesn't mean they dont graft
  14. Cheers mate, if the brother of her that Moorman1 has is anything to go by and i can find enough gear for her then i'm sure she will do fine. Not sure what 2 red dogs you are on about mate? I have the one red bitch that's my lasses dog that's all????
  15. Nice one fella, hope all is well.
  16. Cheers mate. I've got the gear, just need to get out and find the game, when the time comes i'm sure she'll be spot on.
  17. She'll be ready for next season and firing on all cylinders, she had a little taster a few weeks ago so hopefully that'll stay with her and she'll do well when the season's under way
  18. When I first got the pup and had her kenneled outside she was the strangest little terrier i had ever seen, really lifeless and morose so we brought her in for a bit of socialisation which made such a difference to her personality, she is absolutely brilliant now, still very submissive around humans, even my son which is important but wont take too much shit from other dogs! I had a few moments where i had to choke her off the lurcher as they used to have a love hate relationship but she's alright now, it was good for her to develop as she used to bob an weave like a little boxer - up an unde
  19. It's around a year ago I made the 400 mile trip down to the South coast to pick up a 'proper terrier' for digging after gettin the green light from the missus. For those that don't know the pup, she is a rough coated chocolate patterdale off a hunt terrierman who took over the terriers from his old man, they have had the same strain of terriers for 35 years he reckoned, using NS's dogs as outcrosses when needed so she is bred from generations of good working stock. The parents are both proficient fox killers and very effective at their job on a regular basis I was told on the phone, no bull
  20. Both bitches have bolted a fox a piece and have had a rag at a few bits an bobs. Next season will see them into some stuff as i've only just got all the gear.
