    y re wrong b&f receive box is german PIEPS DSP which is runing on 457kHZ freq. is international freq. for avalanche receivers and transmiters, there re several firms, and they have to run on same freq. because alpinists use pieps from different firms. go on B&F web and find freg. and than go on mammut web and find freq.     As long as you've got permission they can't turn you down it is easy having level1 and more so level2.If you've no experince in shooting a centre fire rifle they might put a condition on your ticket for shooting under supervison for so many months but having your level1 you would be exempt

    Use the magnet to turn on the collar a red and green light will come on for 1 second then the red light will go off and the green light should carry on flashing if the red light stays on youv'e only got 20 left in the battery in the collar.Put the switch to receive and wait untill it picks the collar up.It will flash 100 on the screen at 1st thats telling you how much the battery life is in the box.Then it will beep and flash the distance in METRE'S on the lcd.There a symbol on the bottom left hand corner of a person laid down thats telling you how many collars its picking up.All i will say is
