    I do not Yes it is, that is why there need to be a counter balance of views. FFS, this WILL NOT end well for the fieldsports community! Who is pushing for this anyway? Yes, it makes perfect logical sense to simplify law but those working against us don't use logic, they use emotion and anthropomorphism. Please tell me the shooting community have not pushed this on? It has been done now and the question is who can take advantage of it. So it was the shooting community? BASC? I do not know.

    Yes they should be made to pay all costs . dirty beeping scum bags What make the situation even worse is the fact the person that was accused cannot claim his costs against anyone. I would have thought that the RSPCA should be liable for the prosecution bill unless the CPS took the case over or the police agreed to use public money to pay for it. The courts do have power to order public found to be used.

    Very true about the prices of Goshawks, sadly AI has made it so easy for Goshawks to be bred putting them in the same league as Harris's. I reckon in a year or 2 they will be the same price or as near as dam it. it won't change until there is some sort of regulation in breeding and breeders having to pay an annual fee for the privilege of breeding and selling hawks n falcons. I know things are tight enough for people buying hawks and every other BOP but the main point should be making BOP expensive enough to ensure people are less likely to play about and look after their birds. it should a

    There is also the possible if you load more pressure and expense on harris hawk breeders, that find it hard to cover their costs as it is they will just open the aviary doors and let the breeding birds go because no one will take them on, which would make the problem even worse. Economics will cut in eventually given it cost more to produce harris hawks then you can make back by selling them and when people stop breeding them the price will go up. A gross over simplification I know but somewhere near the truth.

    And that make it OK for the police to do anything that they want without transparency and accountability? I can assure you I put up with a lot in my job and I have been attacked more times than the average policeman. We all put up with a lot in the jobs that we do, of course the police in some cases get paid a lot more. Notwithstanding what I have just said the one thing that the police tell me up set them the most is the politics and the red tape that ties their hands that is why we need transparency and accountability to the public so we can see when the police do a good job or not.

    I am not as clever as I want to be but I have not given any relevant details on the case I think you are referring to other than there is an investigation into XXX XXXXXXXXX. The facts in the thread are simple and as I said the thread is put out in the public domain for a greater reason than the peoples on the Forum. I could go on for months about my case but that is not what the thread is about.

    I am not on here to overturn my conviction that is in the hands of the Appeal Court via the CCRC. I am on here to try and bring about changes for the future so what happened to me will not happen in the future. It may seem an impossible dream but there is one thing for sure if you do nothing then nothing will happen besides I know things are changing and questions are being asked. Gone to earth asked what have you been charge with and you said ive not been charged now your saying your convicted so then what have you been covicted of You are missing the point this is not about me
