  1. My bitch was the same mate, a full treatment of camrosa ointment done the trick.
  2. Haha good one. Them days are over now mate, no beer now, gordon fecking brown has taken all my money.
  3. The red bitch is full as an egg and due on the 17th, thats if she dont pop before, haha. Got rid of the dog pup i advertised, to a lad up in birmingham, they came down for a dig and picked him up. Tidy lads but were suprised at how much more vicious our quarry is down here compared to theirs, ha, their bitch went home very sore but she done a shit hot job. I'm out sunday so I'l pm you for a chat ye? take care bud. And good luck with the terriers.
  4. Cheers buddy. How you doing mate? Tried any of your young terriers yet?
  5. Got a Sealey electric hoist for sale. 240 volt supply, 250kg max lifting weight, in good condition, used half a dozen times. Would be ideal for lifting up deer, or for a hunt kennel when doing livestock. £130 in shops looking for £70. Would also offer it as part ex plus cash for a bull/grey. South wales area.
  6. Sounds a handy cross, would like to see one. Did your mates work ok?
  7. My first was 10 years ago when i was 14, died at 3 year old with distemper. cracking whipetxgrey threw back to whipet though and was only 21 inches fast as feck and rarely missed a bunny. Got one here now beddy x at 6 yrs old good rabbiter and got plenty of guts for other things. And also got 1 3yr old bullx who jibbed the other week and is on the short list to go. So wouldnt say i'm experienced and learn every time i go out, most mistakes are mine not the dogs.
  8. Well said. Did you get rid of the pups mate? wood said the one he had off you is bonkers. Whats happening with tina now?
  9. It's not the chill I'm worried about thought i'd bust my leg on saturday with woody, them rocks are damn slippery up the black. you can't wear them size wellies up there, the paddles that stick out the sides of them, get jambed in between the rocks you be better of with a pair of trainers especially how fast woody walks Ha Ha nice one. good luck tonight. Dont forget to get the pics up.
  10. Who cares what they look like unless your a rosette chaser???? If they are doing the job most couldnt give a flying fook if they got two heads. A worker is a worker no matter what size, breed, shape or form, and in such a minority sport we shouldnt be dishing bad comments out, encouragement is needed. theres nout wrong with the dogs in question, by looking at the photos.

  13. Waw, nobody ever been hunting with hounds before???lol.
  14. Dont seem to be much talk about hounds and hunts on this site. So feel free to reply to the following: (Pre ban of corse) Whats your favourite breed of hound and why? Who is the best huntsman you have ever seen? Whats the best day you have ever had? I prefer the welsh hound, being from wales ofcorse.ha. I like the tone of voice and the rough rugged look of them, also witnessed some real game ones that pull out like any bull x around. The best huntsman I have ever seen is Moelfryn Jones Former Banwen hunt and Cwm Giedd hunt, although I was only young when walking with him we didnt half
  15. Well the dogs having one more chance, and if he fails trust me he wont be passed pillar to post, so rest easy lads.
  16. well i have to admit im my case i kept the dog for 2 year so if he wasnt goin to do it after 2 year i reckoned he wouldn do it all some might not mate as we all know some dogs just aint got it, but half the battle is entering the dog correctly, i wouldnt shift a dog at 2 most will say it should be takin them at 2 etc, some just cant be bothered waiting and trying and the dog f****n about and doin this wrong and that wrong so just get rid of it and each to their own we all do things differently, in all the cases iv seen perseverance has paid off so if i was in this position id be out
  17. Have thought of that, but he is my only big lurcher, the small bitch just gets a pasting and injures easily. I have got a mate who has offered to help out with his dog. would this improve my dog?? suppose it would boost confidence? thats the main word there mate - * confidence* , Cheers mate will try this. Just cant get my head around this fact. Two is far to early to be giving up on your dog especially after a fright....as some of the lads have suggested double him up for awhile till his confidence is back up Cheers for your advice guys, i've had terriers since

  20. Wee bit more detail would be good...was it dogs first fox? was he injured?etc etc He's pulled two, this was his second fox on top he killed the first without much effort, this one bit him on the back leg, once he'd been biten he didnt want to know and just danced around when he stopped it. this dog is a lump and has done a lot of other terrier work. But he hasnt seemed to get the nack on old red. Just wondered if any one has had this problem before and if it ever got any better. My first thoughts have been lead treatment. But he has been handy for other jobs so far. Would just seem a sh
