  5. There used be a butchers in Cork that sold wild game but i cant remember the name>i will see can i find out for u.Dont know of anyone that buys the pelts though

It is legal to snare and trap in Ireland John If u use them as a method of control for vermin and as long as u check ur traps and snares once a day and release any non target species back in to the wild unharmed and feed ur decoy and give him fresh water daily.Have caught a lot of mink and magpies and greycrows using traps and have just started to use snares again for rabbits and foxes.Dont know of any place in Ireland that sell snare making supplies but i do know of a few places in England and America if u want the links p.m me and i will send them on to u lad

I am thinking of getting a lurcher or two in the near future and would like know if ye could advise me on the best lurcher book available on the market that would give a beginner like me all the information i need to know about the breeds and crosses and training them from a pup as i would like to do a bit of homework on lurchers before i get one. The main quarry i would be hunting would be rabbit and foxes. I had a lurcher before when i was young but he never recieved any training and would like to do things right this time round Cheers all

  10. I would like to build the basket the warrener uses for setting his longnets in his videos and would appreciate if anyone who owns or uses one could post some close up pictures of the longnetting basket as a guide for me to use
