got a hw95k .177 with simmons deerfield 4-12x40 scope. it was 2nd hand when i got it 10 years ago and its solid. pre-charged was too much money for me then!
could be. some of the holes she was at i had actually seen rabbits disappear into them. ferrets aren't an option unfortunately. the wife wouldn't look after them when im away for work.
Took my young patterdale out in an area heavily populated with rabbits but she wouldn't move on from any warren she found. she'd just bounce from one hole to the next until i put her back on the lead and moved her on. the same happened everytime i let her back off. she was so keen with her nose she didnt notice rabbits 20 yards away. any advice or is this fairly typical. am i stupid to try to get her flushing rabbits before i even have a lurcher. please dont take the piss too much cheers
Yeah looking forward to the move. Might be adding another dog when I get there aswel. Fancying a lurcher but my wife isn't so keen. She should of considered that two years ago when she said I Do! haha.
Is your brother in the army then. Its just you say "based" in near salisbury.
Cheers,
Mick
I used to have one that had been hand made mate. Broom shaft cut to size, about 7-8" with a piece of pipe over the last couple of inches for the weight secured with a screw and washer. Wasn't pretty bu it did the job on trout and any unexpected eel.
Hi there everyone, Ive been checking out this site for a few weeks and thought I should let myself be known. Im particuarlly interested in hearing from people in this area, I haven't been here long
