Do NOT use vaseline, nail polish, alcohol, burning matches etc. etc. Then the tick dies and regurgitates its (infectious) stomach content back into the ferrets/dogs bloodstream!!!! Using fine forceps grasp the tick by its head, and slowly pull it straight out. Or use frontline preventative dunno about that ive always been told you never pull out a tick

tics breath through there back so if you put some vasaline on them they suffocate and fall off without leaving the head in....a risk when pulling them off.also i would bleach out there penn and burn the bedding butt make sure its rinsed out properly .....

i live on the isle of sheppy we dont get mutch as big as that round us ...bass that is...they like a nice rag squid cocktail.did catch a nice doggy a little while back about 8lb.not bad of the beach.well carry on catching...sounds like a 70s comody that lol
