I thought the job titles given in the army would fit civvi so that you'd be able to find work when you leave. I see adverts for courses all the time and if I had a price given too me then I would easily be able to save the money needed but I thought a benefit of the army would be the experience that i'd be able to say i have had...sounds like i just want to use the army but its more to do with making sure i'm not just used and then no better off than when i joined. I'd be quiting a job to go into the army but im bored shitless with it and just life at the moment if im honest.

Will it be different if i choose the elecrtician route? I dont mind getting my hands dirty that comes with the job i'd just not like to be used type thing. I would hate to come out of the army and be at square one having risked my life and done years for my country rather than sitting on the dole and selling drugs like most in my area.

I think it should be banned over here because its no different than other items of clothing which society tend to dislike. I find it crazy that men can't look at good looking women and not want to rape them? I say scrap all religion and just have the idea...dont do anything to anyone you wouldnt like done to you. I am popping down to my local center on thursday. From looking online i want to do an insight course which is just a 1 week course showing you some what life in the royal engineers. I would like to be able to come out of the army knowing I wont have any worries about getting a job. I was hoping learn a trade such as a plumber or electrician. Trouble I have is I dont see what are the exact required city and guilds for these jobs so dont know if the ones earned through the army can apply? I've tried looking online and no luck in finding exactly what is needed. Prehaps anyone one here in any of t

Anyone been in the army and learnt a trade and came out to find work? Only ask as been looking at it but dont want to come out to nothing to be honest. Would want to come out and be able to get a straight foward job working for plimco or something doing plumbing. Thing is the qualifications shown on the army website dont seem to match those needed for the job type thing...really i just wish it said plumber and at the end you can get the job as a plumber but all that city and guilds and nvq bollocks seems confusing to know exactly what is needed.

I agree that no rapist or peado scumbag deserves a second chance but say you was convicted for putting the knife in some scumbag who had mugged your nan and its your only offence are you really that bad? lets face it everyone says they would do such a thing but half are all talk. I dont believe in cv/interview rubbish thats all a front and cvs tend to be people just blowing their own trumpet. I would much rather say youve got to work a month for free and watch whos still interested. I would then only work the remaining for a week based on how they done. Gets some work done for free saving mone

never been arrested in my life. No chance really of getting an apprentice with the way things are and i dont want to end up like most the lot in their 20s from my area. Would rather leave the army to find myself a job doing some sort of trade and live a nice quiet life by the coast.

Funny you mention the army been thinking about that alot today. Wouldnt mind getting far away from london as possible and having a trade when i come out. It gets depressing at my age being around the wanna be rappers and petty drug dealers with street names lol honestly driving me mad.

I remember one bloke got far with sir alan sugar on that tv show and turns out he had lied on his cv but to get that far shows he more was more than able to do the job. Seems being honest in this day and age gets you no where. I agree a cbr should only be doing when working with children...otherwise people will reoffend because i cant see anyone able to live on dole money not that you should be able too if your fit enough to work but then not much work around at the moment.

friend of mine recently just got out from doing abit of bird. His nicest bloke you can meet but applying for jobs they just see that his got a record and not given a chance. I cant blame the employers kind of thing because if i was running my own business and 2 people was equally good enough for the job then id choose the clean sheet...thing is this leaves people with some what little choice other than to go back to crime. Do you think the whole cbr thing should be scrapped other than peado scum and say repeat offenders?

Have thought about roids myself but decided id rather just have a good diet and train hard. I have been training half hearted sort of thing, mainly a poor diet that isnt consistant enough. I said i would do the roids then got offered some think he said it was decca but shit myself when i saw the needle haha. Putting anything in your body that you dont fully know about imo is stupid. Say the same to certain friends who think what they sniff is actually good coke. Anyone got any good bulking diets while were on the subject seems to be alot of experience and knowledge here?

Read back in the earlier pages what I thought was a fine idea. Should be an option for people to do jobs around the community for double their dole money. Thing is though would this tread on other peoples toes and not put them out of work? Mate of mine has been signing on for few months and got stuck on some course....its only done so your classed then as being in education rather than unemployed. They won't ever legalise the only way of finding out if a pitbull is breed worthy. Have no problem with pet owners as working dogs don't make you a great dogman infact many keep the dogs in terrible condition. I just see even more poor examples being bred and where chavs already own what they think are examples...I think families who wasn't willing to break the law and risk loosing their dog may be tempted by the cute puppy. Only takes one unexperienced family to have an accident and you don't think the media would jump all over the dogs and probally want other breeds dragged into the dda.

i'd call the above example a hard man yes and hell be respected. Criminals can be hard men and they are feard. Fact is some people dont want a shitty boring job..struggle to pay the bills...holiday once or twice a year...when some others have been given better chances in life arent nice people but rich as f**k...not to mention paying tax thats used for wrong reasons. Some people think f**k that and do whatever it is they do. Biggest criminals run the country.

if the krays was around now no dought if they wanted to choose the same path. The world changes n in this day and age everyone can get a gun. I dont think the krays would make much difference today...society has changed always has been crime but less morals now...back then armed robbery n youll do big bird...now grow some plants with less risk n less time if caught....appeals to alot more people n makes more comp.
