MAybe your a d*ckhead just trying to find out about dogs in general. And for f*cks sake have a little scope in your brain to see that i was being very general in terms of aggresive dogs! If you can't say anything helpful then don't waste you f*cking time writing insults! we've moved forward from that. You SAD little man. -
Cheers Midnight!! You have no idea how long i've spent reading old posts on here trying to sort out what i want but am just getting confused! Thats why i'm asking and as (sorry to generalise) you lot seem to be the real workers i respect your advice and info! I can stick the sarcasm! thats all right! Don't think of me as the enemy more an undercover secret agent  Any other suggestions on good all-rounders crosses? now we're back on track

Cheers shaun. Its a hard area to break into as i am training to be a keeper not many people i know have or work lurchers. Anyone know of any litters towards end of march- would be great help> loving, good working home assured!
-
oh that would be why!!!

I would classify bulldogs of any breed as guard dogs as they are very loyal and can be aggresive if they feel threatened much like GSD's, Rottweilers dobermans etc obviously they have alot more to them and i ain't going to write any essays which is what it would take!! I would like to know what catergory you would place them? maybe you can enlighten me!!!! I know i like collie but have heard that they can be yappy which i have seen many collies doing so i didn't know whether to believe it or not! also i am unclear as i have never owned a collie/greyhound what they'd be like? Just wondering w

Sorry to ask you all so many questions but you all seem to know a fair bit!!! Collie x is looking the way i'm heading! but i have read they can be prone to yapping is this true??? anyone know of any litters that will be ready late feb to march with collie greyound in them as a large percentage doen't have to be pure colliegreyhoung though!! Or any litters that should make good all-rounders?? Any help appreciated

Yeah sorry i don't want to start a which breed is better than which. bullx's have a little more punch than i require. if i were ever to go out afdter just foxes and deer i'd rope a mate in! but an allrounder is what i want, quick for rats and rabbits, but confidence and hardy enough to take a few knocks from deer or foxes(when ban is lifted) and have good feet Yeah she prob does know there rep is shite but she won't have any guarding breed in the house doesn't like em!!! but i figure theres plenty of other breeds to choose from And shaun v - yes mummy she a lovely lady!!! -
How do i get to smoochers site? not to be traiterous lol but just need more dog info!!! Its like an addiction!!!!!!

Cheers Midnight but my mummy is a very doggy sorta lady-qualified in dog behaviour and knows the breeds had thought of that but she'd be mighty pissed off if she found out and as shes gotta look after it till i finish college its a no go! Anyone planning to have a litter of greyhound/beddyxcollie/greyhound ? cos i recon that might do the business! or something similar ghound/deerhoundxghound/collie You see i need a dog that will be calm and just tag along while i work(well trained lol) but then be off when something bolts not a dog that needs to be held on a slip then released eac -

i like bull x but mum won't have any in the house. lol and gotta keep her happy!! i'll prob get a bull cross when i move out in a year or so. doesn't have to have all breeds but something with a bit of speed, brains and hunting for themselves ability with enough size to take bigger game cleanly! -
Just gotta check with boss!!! Should be alright though!! Anyone know of puppies that will be ready to go to new a home in march? Bred something like 1/2 greyhound 1/4 collie 1/4 deerhound! something like that doesn't have to be exact but plenty of greyhound maybe a little saluki as well or Just a mix of dogs crossed in like beddy/collie/deerhound/saluki. None important but i want brains and needs at least half sighthound Anyone know of any dogs like this working? Are they any good? If not anyone recon this cross would be good for alot of mooching and having at work needs to b

Not cuts like this but i help on a shoot and there is a fox release site just across one boundary. As they release the foxes they run straight across the road into a heavily snared fence. we caught 7 in a night (had to go back and get more cartridges) and 17 in that week. lol. f***ing cruel to release a 3 legged fox in the countryside. 6 or 7 of them had three legs. the rest just had toes or tails missing. Caught another three leg-er in a larsen trap in the summer!

Also been looking at pics of your boy scoob and he looks a cracker. What breeding is he cos he looks and seems to act right for the same work i want to do!!! Would he take the odd fox? Hope to hear soon!

I find that a nice loud "Hoy! Charlie! C'mere and see my nice chickens. You can't miss them, just next to this big feckin torch!" works particularly well. :11: :11: :11: :11: :11: Saying that i went to a deer park where my mate lives and you just bang on the side of the car and shout C'mon and they come running in to about 20-30 yards. :11: :11:

the best i ever found was a diaphragm call. you put it right in your mouth like a sheperds whistle. the other good one is two brass discs with a hole in them. very simple and good! but by far the best as you always have it with you is off the fingers - the first finger knuckle. alot of practice but easily the best
