    it's hard teaching your kids i must admitt to that my son is a lefty but shoots right handed that was hard enough i gave my kids a quid for everytime they got the bully on the target and this helped as he wanted COD game as well so the more he shot the more he got lol now they both hunt with me and the COD game stays at home and not in the head lol he will get there soon matey i am sure and when he does it will all be down to you pal keep it up rob look forward to seing the post soon matey shay

    hi ya tony i am soooo very proud of her i am teaching law and leg gun safety already and she repeats it all to me even when it comes to shoot the gun she checks the zero as she said it's not that i dont trust you i need to know for myself lol her words bless her i even think she want she wants to come to a few meets and some of the fairs that i will be doing i am coaching at the newark fair in feb so that will be fun lol shay

    hi ya folks well i thought as i am off back to work in the morning so me and my daughter ty decided to go over the manor for a shoot,so we sat on the benches outside byt the squizzer tree to see if anything showed it's self so off for a walk around where we saw a nice size rabbit sitting around so we stalked up on the rabbit the best we could and got lased into a nice zero of 30mtrs so ty settled in and took the shot my daughter is 8 years old and been shooting with me since she could walk i have no problem with her taking vermin at all and she will put most people and myself to a true test o

    hi ya buddy i tend to use a 8x4 sheet of hard ply cut in half this way it stops the pellets going through i also use cut offs to make it more like a box shape this way if you get a pellet fly it will only hit the sides. if you have people living next door advise them that you will be shooting and after you stop shooting tell them plus get yourself into 10mtr shots to see were the pellet is going then work your way back to 20mtrs this you know your hitting the backstop and you know were the pellet is going then work back to 25mtrs this would be good for your zero plus it will also show yo

    hi ya folks well i got a phone off si saying him and davy were about for a bit of shooting so we arranged to meet up and mine while gem(my wife) made sarnies for all of us kev(baghdadnights) phil si and davy so we went over to the manor for a bit of a shoot and a little target practise well here are the the pictures of our day it was very wet and windy so not alot about cracking shooting from kev and si to and to young phil from a standing shot with his .25 at a used shotgun cart at 52mtrs lased. i hope they enjoyed as much as i did and i am hoping that davy will be over in the summer to hel

    I have just got in from doing my ATEO course with Shay. I arrived at the venue (his house) at about 09:45 and once I had unloaded my gear was offered a cuppa. After this I was shown various pieces of equipment and asked what they were used for and asked what you would look out for in the case of knives and anything else that could be dangerous. Next I was shown how my particular rifle/scope was not set up to its full potential (I don't think there is anything about shooting that Shay doesn't know).     hi ya lewis buddy right you could take it to tony at Sandwell Field Sports the bloke is spot on when it comes to springers buddy plus the springer gun is always a cracking gun try to keep your ranges down unlike using a pcp i use a bsa lightning .25 out to 25mtrs this way i know the gun will keep a nice clean kill i had a supersport a few years back and they do have a punch to them having it tuned by and expert and knowing it is safe you will have lots of fun using it 177/22 they are always fun get plenty of practise at the targets again after getting her serviced and then get some good post

    just want to thank everyone for the nice comments just wanted to say i do see both side but i was talking to a lad the other day he was out with his rimfire .22 and he couldnt even hit the target at 30mtrs as i know him i went over to speak to him he was about ready to throw the lot in the spinny so i checked his gun and scope just to find out if they were out in anyway yep they sure were he had never zero'd a scope it was his first gun and bullets flying everywhere now is this a good idea ? so after spending a couple of hours with him he was getting there and feeling happy about the whole sho

    i wouldnt say it is needless training to be honest buddy as this will be good for all and it helps the new to the sport kids adults and old as well plus it helps in the way of gaining land with the certificate you get as well all this helps with gun safety everything you need to know about guns scopes how to make sure you use the right pellets if the gun fits right and takes the kids/adults that haven't done anything like it before off the fields were they can or like to shoot anything that moves so to speak but thank you for your input all the best shay

    hi ya folks well a few of you know that i have been training to be a marksman instructor in airgun pest control here is a little info on what i do these courses are to help airgunners new and old, and show that we are not mad people with guns. i am a certified ATEO instructor in airgun marksmanship this will also help you on your way to gain land or more land to shoot on it also gives you a certificate to say that you have been trained by an ATEO instructor plus this is all recorded and kept safe this way if you are stopped or asked then you have this to show that you have been trained on a
