There are 2 dog and whippet racing clubs starting their bend racing season on greyhound tracks. First one is Westhoughton Greyhound Stadium near Bolton, Manchester. The other is Highgate Greyhound Stadium near Goldthorpe. I'll add some more details this week of tracks, dates and contact details. Whippet Racing Photography

Falconry day experience

Not been on here in ages but noticed the falconry forum and thought I'd share these photos. We went to the Coniston Falconry centre as a birthday present for my partner. I booked a family day (we have 2 children brought up around 18 racing dogs so they're pretty sensible around animals and the oldest had spent some time doing falconry in Nantwich) Got to say it was an amazing experience, we all learned lots about the birds and I thought it was a great way for (sensible) youngsters to appreciate this country pursuit.
