    Thats exactly what I'm after doing, got the border and it works fine with my parents dogs but i fancy a pure whippet for my own as I'm moving out soon.

    You're not wrong there DS ... the fish tail chequering on the stock really finishes the gun off well ... I have a lightning ... and its probably the gun i use the most out off all my guns , prefered it to my tx200hc due to it being alot lighter and not a bit of a pain in the arse to load, didnt have to pump it up when i had the Super10 fooking buddy bottles take some filling! Then along came my old fx2000, even though it was precharge it beat the Beeza on looks , cheaquered stock while my lightnings stock is just a lump of wood.     Haha your not joking, once you start fiddling with them its hard to stop hence why I have 2 and wouldnt mind another! Fancy a long barrelled number with wood furniture and a 4x40 scope for the next one. My kitted one has a hawke sd red dot on it and the other once just has the field sights , did have a scope on but I cant get on with the bloody pro-blocks so they came off 10 mins after it arrived

    The British Solution to Save Petrol Brown wants us to cut the amount of petrol we use...... The best way to stop using so much petrol is to deport 3 million illegal immigrants!     Well said Nuv dont assume every border is a show dog just as every plummer aint. I didnt pay anywhere near 300/400 for my border and his done the biz only had one chance but took to it well an its only just turning 1 year old .. matured far ahead of his litter mates so just proves not every border is a show dog, his mainly here for ratting & bushing ( as my permission seems to lack old charlie) which he does well , as most borders do. Now I dont doubt for one minute that most patts and lakies out there make far better earth dogs then my border, but both parents have taken fox regulary a

    Few and far between mate I know of some (got one) But there only bred once in a blue moon. I can ask the bloke I got mine off see if he knows of any others.

    Part of the FAC conditioning is that you must have a cabinet, also you will have to complete a 4-6 month probation period at a small arms club or similar. Have it put over a chrono , it may well just need tuned to 11.8-12ft/lbs . Also a gunsmith wouldn't tune it right up unless you held a FAC.
