  1. There's a guy on here I won't say his name very keen and his dogs have been to the moon n back and taken all quarry and I mean all if he ever puts one of his dogs to a pure saluki they be some tools I'm sure of it.

  3. It's not just the dog the dog no matter how much potential needs the right owner that knows how to get the best out of the dog and the passion keenness and fitness to get the dog amongst it on a very regular basis.

  6. Heard good things about the sandman dog bred off that sonny n a John Lennon bitch supposed to be strong type n good at his job has anyone used him.
  7. Looks quite short coupled for a saluki other than that I love the strength to him I'm not a fan of the narrow that seem quite common now, great lookin dog Mac..
  8. I don't see that as a bad thing aslong as selective breeding? Do you know much about the pashmi hound mush I saw a few in India they was some stamp, or do you think just another strain of saluki with an Indian name.

  13. I'm surprised saluki are not popular in Australia I spent some time out there n land to die for with plenty of hares, bumper into plenty pig but coursing lads in sight

  16. The dam was a working bull to Wilburs star n the sire off slinky x candy. I have a saluki lurcher now plenty blondie in him Alan bred both parents n I have a non ped to a splodge fettle art banksey dog
  17. I had her from a pup and she was with me until she died as an old lady we went to the moon n back together she was bomb proof with a big big engine
  18. Yeh he would know pal iv never been to the middle east I'd like to one day tho.
  19. Iv seen a few pure salukis that just couldn't cut it on proper hares but iv seen 3 that could and did do guddens all through winter n one of these was bought by the Arabs at 22 month old for 20 grand they wanted her for racing.

  21. Yes rich that's right.. How about pure salukis mate, when you've been to the middle east did you see any of the racing as it's huge there now isn't it n big money, did you see any difference in smoothes n feathered as regards to performance, seems to be more smooths than feathered on the clips that iv seen? Or is that just coincidence due the region thing.
