Cheers lads, everything has not long since been planted so still quite young. I can't wait until everythings fully grown! Saying that we have allready had Strawberrys, Peapods and Lots of different lettuce. So harvesting has allready started! When the top cover eventually arrives and I make some doors i'll post some more pics up.
-
The pics i've posted are the start of the Polytunnel. (Try and see through the lad that "Sometimes works for me" as I pay him to do f**k all! My missus is just trying to put some more pics on.
-
I've got a lot of pics on my phone I just need the missus to upload them i'm useless with computers!! I'll get her to upload them when she gets in from work.

I'd try and get this thread deleted if I was you. Contact a mod. -
I was told that because the poles are plastic I would'nt need the Anti hot spot tape? I suppose it would'nt hurt to put some on anyway. It will be trenched and sprinkler systemed (eventually). First poly tunnel problem! .... Something is eating my Strawberrys!! I think it's ants but? Mice, Slugs? No mice shit and no silver trails that I can see.
-
I think what i'm going to do is put a window at the back the full width of the tunnel which will work out approx 4ft x 10ft and obviously a door at the front which should sort the ventilation side out. As for the rain water collection i've been thinking about that because it's such a big area it would collect a lot of water which would be nice. I forgot to mention that so far the Poly as cost me £0.00!! But the special UV cover is costing me £100 which I suppose is'nt too bad.
-
After saying that i'll build one for over 2 years i've finally got round to building a Polytunnel. Approx 20ft x 10ft, Raised beds inside and a Peach tree so far but i'm just waiting for the cover to arrive because I had to order it but the sides allready have polythene on (i'll take some photos asap) Thing is i've never had a Polytunnel so just wondering if anyone has one and has got any tips for me??

There was a Poodle x at Harewood. Only young at 11 months I think but in the right hands I think it could be a very capable cross. Can't quite remember the % of poodle but was near 1/2.

My Lurcher bitch is 7 years old this Oct. From the age of 6 months old she has come into season every 6 months. I have never had a litter of pups out of her but now I feel she has proven herself over and over again to warrant breeding from. I have found the right dog but ..... she was due to come into season February 2010 but she hasn't so has any one got any ideas how to bring her into season? So far i've put weight on her which someone sugested and also kenneled her with one of my terriers that was in season in the hope it would fetch her into season. I really need to breed her as I own
