    he's a 9 year old Russel cross heeler. he's a good little marker with the hart of a lion. can't wait for next season ,then I'll be training my beddy whippet pup , should be a good edition to the team!! just got back from todays outng, , we bolted a few to the gun , 5 in total , 1 phesant,and a partrige. i'll get a pic up later,.

    well managed to get out today, we didn't get the bag we hoped for but managed 11. had some tough ferreting tho, around silage bale,s under logs, around farm building etc. the dogs managed to bag the first just minutes after arriving. we stayed around the farm for about 3 hours and bagged 4 bunnies,the farmer had asked use to do a bit round there as they put holes in the plastic wrapper around the bales .we then had a spot of lunch and made our way up the land where we have never been, this land is newish to us, so took a while to find the holes. couldn't find any big warrens, the ones we fer

    i got a couple of hobs from last years young. they will make good workers as i have a very good line . been toying with thinning them out a bit, might have only been out once or twice but are ready to work now. they are silvers. do i know you?

    if the farmer wants them shot for eating his wheat why not. just keep it amongst you and the farmer. as long as your going to eat them

    not good if theres still other rabbits down there though, as you could loose potential rabbits, either wait longer, or take up a sport that dont involve digging take a bottle of water with ya , for your dogs and ferrets if your out all day. also you can clean your hands after gutting the rabbits you catch

    Another ANTI, doesn't realise a lurcher and earth dogs do different jobs, all just dogs too them. Ive told you im not an Anti im am uncle some thing you will never be as your a one off boring little man! go on fazza.

    another good day then brimmer, that land looks as tho it could neighbour some of the land i work , gunna try get out sunday on some low level ground that we havn't been on for a while, hope its worth it. i prefer land with a bit of harder terrane as others don't tend to be bothered about putting the work in to get there!meaning better bags!! i'll try getting something posted on it monday
