  9. Im having a bit of trouble on some permission with lamp shy foxes. Iv been managing to call them in to shooting range (rifle) but not close enough for the dogs. Ive tried most things, different calls and making sure im down wind. Ive tried filters and dimmers but to no avail. So i went there last weekend and spotted a fox 2 fields away so i switched off the lamp, squatted down and called. I purposeley left the lamp off and didnt check for a miniute or so when i put the lamp on he was only about 60 yrds away but took off like a missile., So the plan is to get some night vision monocul

  12. I ran my two dogs last night on hard ground took 7 rabbits and only missed a few, Didnt realise how hard the ground was untill we did some fields which where well worn by sheep. Both dogs had injuries to feet especialy whipet gray x I feel a complete tosser now for not using my head. Checked them this morning and ive hopefully got away with it, just some TLC and cleaning left them rest today with some of last nights catch  Its easy not to realise the punishment these dogs take on hard ground and ive learned another lesson. Bob
