    i think you are missing the point......the point being that the actual basis of the complaint is that the advert (in which no animal actually suffered, it was a mock up of snow etc) might lead people to believe that its perfectly acceptable to keep a dog in a tiny kennel, where it cant even stand up, turn around, or get away from the winter weather/elements, with a bed actually in the snow and therefore getting cold and wet, is a suitable place for a dog to live. And i agree fully that no dog should have to live in the type of kennel that this advert depicts. There are "kennels" and there are

    here here!! on the rare ocassions we have more than 2 to carry we leave them on the hedge and pick them up on the way home!

    er....why would you be buying it unless you knew all about the breed?Thats just plain ridiculous it also suggests that the person you are buying from has little scruples as no one responsible would sell a dog to someone without doing some homework on them first

    i had a look but all i can see is pix of those being presecuted....im assuming they dont want their faces shown because they will be easily recognised when trying to blend in at hunts?

    They tend to be area specific, and therefore our list was for known westcountry ones. There was someone out today...... im sure I recognised from his anti activities a few years back but couldnt prove it and just wanted to see the current list to compare the face! Failing that if anyone knows wher i can view a photo of known westcountry league monitors let me know please!

    A few years ago our hunt was given a rather tired looking photocopied sheet of mugshots of known hunt sabs or League monitors. Does anyone know where I can get an updated set of pix?

    i agree with others advise about going back to basics but more importanty I would not be taking the 2 together until they had learned to run down the beam......its nigh on impossible to train 2 together.

    canine chemist is best i can get price wise and if you buy bulk like we do (100 plus at atime) then they do great deals if you ask

    Last year we met a lakey man and his daughter who came from near or in bristol, and talked about the possibility of one of his terriers to be put to our bitch. Well unfortunately the mans details have now all been lost so Im hoping someone can recognise the description and put me in touch with him. he does a lot of showing and winning and the terriers are very well presented, and mainly black n tans. Anyone know who im looking for please pm me, very grateful.

    last week off N Devon coast had the bigest macks Ive ever seen plus a few decent bass, 2 dabs, and a lovely half hour with dolphimns swimming around us :kiss:

    call me "stupid" but I just dont get why youd breed a litter and keep a pup you dont have the room for, and then sell the dog that youve done all the training with. Poor dog....hope he gets a permanent home next time around :hmm:

    friend of mine has a blue tick that actually was bred in south africa and then brought to the uk, he does a lot of tracking and before he was retired he was a trained sniffer dog in a port, looking for stowaways. Great dogs but hard to handle.

    EACH TO THEIR OWN. I SLEEP A SMALL PACK OF VERY DESTRUCTIVE HOUNDS ON TUFFIES....AS THERE ARE NO ZIPS OR OPENINGS THEY HAVE LASTED OVER 2 YEARS SO FAR. OH AND THEY IG TOO.....BUT STILL GOING STRONG.
