    this is to all the real single handed coursing boys. I dont want to hear about i think a bull cross is what i would use or its illeagle to chase hares or any of that rubbish. has anyone seen a real dog or bitch this year? a dog worthy of being put amongst the legenderie hare dogs gone by lucky, foxy, blondie, captain, fettle, the hippys bitch ruth etc? i havent herd of a real topper be nice to see whats doing the job on feild and fen and what there out of. thanks

    Have another look at the first page on this thread! If I'v got a bitch that can do it all then why not use it. :toast: None of these pups will be one trick ponies. i saw the first page. theres a massive great dog catching bolted rabbits. im looking at getting a poodle and taking it to crufts next year. you put a silly face sticking fingers up at me. i bet your as quite as a lamb in the flesh. you keep your fire side jooks. ill only keep 100% working dogs.

    there a good money spinner. if your in it for a match dog you could buy a well breed lurcher pup (i wouldnt go for a full bred unless mainlie to earn on pups) £300 to £500. you could get 6 pups from dif litters for the money your going to lay out on your saluki. dont get me wrong i like salukis but you wont find them in many a subaru boot. and i know one hasnt won the forley cup. shadow likes his coursing so his one all be tested proper. time will tell. its all to much doe for me at the mo!

    i saw in a rspb catalouge a product that stops bird baths frezzing so it must do same kind of job for your dogs. have a look sure youll find it proballie more expense id imagine than a wack with hammer or kettle of water.

    a show dog put to a racing dog ! strange how so many people are impressed by pics of trophies and rosets. thats the way to take the working lurcher forward? my old bitch died at 10 last week and never went near a show in her life. she proved her worth stopping tons of winter hares week in week out thats a bitch worthy of pups in my mind.

    i live on a council estate but i own my house. its what pisses me off. i bet its some one who pays f all to live in a council house identical to mine how is moaning. but id never get one cause i graft instead of taking the rock and roll or being from afganistan.

    can anyone tell me the exact laws on barking dogs please? iv had a letter from the council. i own 5 saluki lurchers a fell terrier and an american bulldog all in kennel block with bulldog running round the kennels. when one dog starts to howl they all start apart from the bulldog. im prity hard on them and they soon stop if they think im coming down the garden! but its when im out they take the piss. has anyone had problems with grassing neighbors like me. and are electric collars an answer. i dont want to get reed of my dogs but i dont fancy a 5k fine.

    i knew his last owner K.T coz i used him before and the man whos got him nows my mate L.H. im not sure mate but iv heard of that taz and the dog called laddie thats if its the same laddie i no called it accident laddie? taz is a dog owned by david reed whos a grand a jump. and its not john davis laddie who uv herd of. daves a travalling man from cheshunt site and he was an big ugly brindal dog who won lots of matches hed be old or dead now. my bitch has killed hares at boston, peterborogh wisbeach and on a horse paddock when she needed to. these are chancie pups and wont be about long.

    sire: bill brother to taz. dam: my own bitch. very reliable in her day up and at erm bitch with loads of stamina out off ginger daves dog laddie. 2 pups left £ 300 only reply if your after a coursing dog. not if your a messer and just fancy a chat thank you. I dont keep the pups round me and any one wanting a pup will be meet some where on the road.

    thats 100% wrong ! if a hare was faster than a dog you wouldnt have a course. this is how it goes. . . you slipn your dog and unless you get strait lined the hare has to turn to avoid being picked up because the dogs the faster animal in a line.

    iv got an american bulldog bitch for sale on the money thats what every lurcher man needs. i lost my dogs once and i sleep better knowing my ones running around my lurcher pens. hope you get dogs back. the coursing games about f*ck*d as it is anyway with out this.

    so brazing thats worst thing. had my dogs took same time of day 8-9 (coursing dogs). but i was boxing and my sister was in on her own. got erm back in the end. if some one knocks and asks about your dogs or if theres any for sale just strip erm srait away. if you cant fight crack erm with something! if they think your a soft touch thell come back. if someone wants to buy a dog they look in the paper they dont go and knock on a door!

    this is my sons and he is doing realy well thats the best looking lurcher iv seen for ages. i keep saluki crosses mainlie but id love to have that for lamping. if thats a mistake mating well thats turned out a treat! do you know if there are any bitches for sale of that exact breeding ( full sisters ) id be intrested if so.

    sire charlie to foxy ruby to deacon dam becky sister to foxy to squire Whoa !! That , to a normal person is gibberish ! Why can't people with Saluki X's simply say how their dog is bred ?? If it was a Greyhound or a Whippet, you would say what the sire and dam were, and how they were bred, but Saluki X guys only mention what the sire and dam are related to !! Cheers. because they know all coursing dogs are saluki crosses. if you know anything about coursing youll be more intrested in nthe particular lines what theve thrown and what theve done in there day. stick to the bunnys green

    why on earth would you want to kill that many hares with a lamp? rabbits are a diffrent matter caus you need to lamp erm to get the runs. id like to see your collies do that in the day! did they die of burnt out reetiner damage? iv been lamping for hares im ashaimed to say and i never liked seeing my coursing bitch running confused animals that runn into your. 15 and 16 RABBITS one week after each other is my modest best with a 20 inch bed whippet x lurcher i breed 12 years ago. with a very strong wind and rain big bags can be taken up the north i know.

    i dont like your stratagie of holding back all the letter. 1. thats a lot of shit to pick up for a year. 2. your favour the biggens and possible decent animals could be neglected. 3. better the odds by fetching in or swapping pups from other well breed letters because all thought your breeds good the pups might not be. iv just done the same. not all your eggs in one basket. i only ended up 2 sep bred dogs.
