hi their people im thinking of making new pens from blocks and mesh ive got two dogs and am gonna get a whippet as soon as the pens are done but i also have ferrets and am wanting to design some thnig that they can sleep in and also have acess to a small secton of space were the dogs cant see them but they all have to be near each other as the missus wants the garden doin for last summer any sugestions or pics of a layout would be a massive help thanks jedandlevo............

never thought of starting at the bottom or adding more ferrets thought you could only use one dunno why like any way ill try what you said hope it works for me cheers mate

if you have a lamp just put a normal color on and only lamp on common ground that way you will no were you dog /bitch is and were its heading as for the red light thng i not fully shure if they can see it dont suppose they could as you can get red filters for the lamp i have got supposeingly to help spot the rabbits with hope this helps . jedandlevo

went out the other day with me 2 jills and a bag of nets done ten or so sets never even seen one rabbit dont no what or if im doing any thing wrong or not heres what i do 1 find a set and net all holes that i can see find a hole that looks like i gets used more than any other put the ferret in with locator attached and wait usualy takes about five to ten minuts depending on the size of set and still nothing we no these set are in use as we had a look from the next field with bonoculars and seen rabbits working these paticular sets the two jills both work well so as ive use them sucessfuly

I did a simmilar thing once but the mower made a banging noise & a man across the road came running over when he heard me squeel i felt a right dick i did :l no ofence but women you should leave the diy to the fellas
