  8. Absolute fookin bargin for someone. :tongue4:
  9. Ive seen this in a rabbit once, it was fixed in position hard, and felt hard, like a very full water baloon. I hoofed it straight in the hedge.
  10. Take it back, get them to sort it, or refund the cost of repair.
  11. I totally agree with Mally, the better the lense, the better the clarity and detail of the shot. I wouldnt use anything but Carl Ziess on my Hasselblad. But as a all round good lense, the standard is fine. Not all people can afford a £900 lense, some may say why spend £1000's on mods, on a £500 car? If you can afford a £900 lense, You might want to be upgrading your camera aswell.
  12. Hi mate why is he complaing If you can imagine the doo gooder of the earth, thats him. Never had a animal in his life, (apart from his wife, she is a real growler) but knows everything about them. He dont like that the dogs are kenneled, says they should be in the house at night, they have a 74sq ft kennel and run, they get walked three times a day, yes three, and fed twice a day. Yes that is two smaller meals a day. He has had the R.S.P.C.A. out, who said the dogs were fine and in good nick, the bloke is just a cock. Thanks for the replies so far, i might have to piss all over h
  13. The 450d is a very nice little camera, but be aware, the cannon eos range is constantly being updated. So your money spent on a brand new camera will depreciate fast by a superseeded model. If your looking for a good cheap didgi slr for snapping shots, i would buy a second hand 350d or a 400d. The 450d has a larger viewing screen, but most of the other tricks and toys are the same. It comes with a 18-55 lense i beleive, wich is ample for most shooting you will do. I.E. portrait, fast moving, landscape within reason, all round lense. Hope this helps a little.
  14. My neighbour keeps lodging complaints against my dogs. Ive been wacking him with a shitty stick for a week now but he wont f**k off, any advise please???? :aikido:
  15. Can i also have 10 irish digging companions, all with graffters please.........
  16. I purchased two jills ready to work last season, sisters. Kept them together, worked together, bred at the same time, stil living together. For the past week ive noticed one of them is much more bossy than the other, dragging the other one back into the bedding area all the time. Ive just been out to them and one of them has had ther kits. Woo Hoo! Not sure how many, just heard the squeeking. But she is stil dragging the other one about. They will come out and see me together, feed, drink, but as soon as the one has had enough, she drags the other back to bed. So my question is
  17. Here is a few pics, before and after clipping. This is Patch, my parsons russel x lakeland from earthandhounds on here. He is nearly 12months old now, hope to start showing him a few things this season. BEFORE AFTER So do you aprove of him now Jase??
  18. Apart from maybe slipping a young, or training dog on a few half growen rabbits, why would people be lamping this time of year anyway? Surely you are just killing off this coming seasons quarry. If your dog is use to catching half growen squatters, surly it will turn its nose up when the harder, full growen rabbits start getting up. Just my own thought.
  19. Thanks for the comments so far guys n gals........
  20. Hi all, not posted for a while so thought ide take a few pics while out walking them today. Not doing alot this time of year obviously, so hope you enjoy the snaps. This is Patch, he is 11.5 months old, a parsons russel x lakeland. Bred by earthandhounds of here, cheers earthy. This is Lady, from archie on here. She is 17.5 months old, she is a wippet x bull x greyhound. Anyone that has read my threads before will know that lady was coming on well the end of last season, she hadn't done any lamping before. She was catching a few rabbits and was starting to use her head with
  21. 1 bull x 1 parsons x lakeland 1 plummer
  22. Im no expert, but the dog needs experience. Just take it ferreting as much as possible, it will soon learn that his little furry friends go into dark places and bolt dinner. If the dog is impatient and wont stay around the set, just hold the coller until the ferrets have bolted a few. It will soon get the idea. It all doesnt happen over night ofcorse, it all takes time, a good dog is years in the making, and can always learn somthing. Goodluck.
