  6. lol. nice looking ferts. Are your kids into ferreting?
  7. I have never smoked a ferret out but I have always thought maybe the ferret may be stuck in a stop end and unable to get out (rabbit blocking it) and the smoke might kill a ferret. I am not sure about this one but thats how I see it
  8. so, you think it's neccessary to have a terrier LRF, yet are asking if a ferret one is needed, does that mean you dont value ferrets as much but ditch, how do you consider something, that had'ent been invented A terreir is more likely to get stuck I would have thought
  9. There is no point using one in the hedges around my place. I always went out with a liner hob with my grandad but now just find it easier to sit and wait
  10. I dont have a clue He bought it at Trago Mills.(our local cheapscate shop) and they seel quite a good range of guns. They also have it on the ian hodge fieldsports site
  11. But if you do get another I will be happy to take the mk1 off your hands. I dont use one but it would be goodto have one in case I do need it
  12. do what you wish to do because you will always get some for and some against. Its annoying sometimes. everyone has to split up. I dont use a finder myself but my friends do and they all prefere the mk1
  13. I agree, nothing wrong witha good old box. My grandad said he used to put a ferret in his pocket and a few nets in the other. A lot more complicated nowadays. He also said that his father would put it down his trouser leg and tie the bottom! You'd have to trust your ferret
  14. not yet. But I will this week hopefully. Ian hodge fieldsports are doing it. Ad he has a load of guns for me to have a look at and hopefully buy 1.
