hi every one went out for a couple of hours today set of about 3:30pm and went to some new permission a bout 5 minutes from me house. had a recky the night before and seen that there was a considerable amount of Bunnie activity, so got me self set up by some hay bails and and had a quick zero to find distances on the mil dot and waited.wasn't long before the first target presented its self now this shot was the furthest away so i knew it would be 3/4 mil dot under. steadied my self mil dot on target no wind perfect conditions and THWACK up it goes and down it came dead. after picking it up

hi Andy OK understand mine is purely vermin control, there are plenty of rabbits down here. so when it starts to get thin i move on to the next one i only have one farm, the rest are commercial properties. regards davy

hi after dropping my gun last night and not a very good day/evening ,i decided to go zero again after i fixed a sling to me gun. so it wouldnt fall over again and while i was out i picked these two of after missing two others i see the first one fly of after hitting it ,it didn't get far by the noise the others were making i knew it was down!! and shouting MEDIC!!! lol. for those of you who have shot magpies before will know what i mean about the noise they make when one of their own is down? CLOSE UP no work next week so will be out

C.L.A? Points Today 3 Total 12 Got four Kills today but only 3 were retrievable so had to settle for three points. Same tactics again just driving around farms. To be honest its starting to p me off without the scope missing silly shots. You might as well be pi$$1ng against a hurricane without a scope. Just wondering has anyone set any target of points for this competition? Id like to get 100 points myself but id want to get my act together. hi bates88 both of what you have stated is good enough,if the woods are heavily wooded? then you should be able to static shoot them or move around and follow them and a lot of patients. but watch out for those twigs one loud snap and they will be off-ski hope this helps happy hunting davy

I decided to buy Davy's rifle, and its fantastic!!! need to get it zero'd to 35ft or something, but hey, its fantastic, alot heavier and less plasticier sounding than i was expected (after reading reviews). tested it out in the garden, and it went through the paper target( obviousley), through the halfinch thick wood board the targets were mounted on, and halfway through the garden gate whch is again about a half inch thick wood. The guncase you send didn't fit the rifle with the silencer on, but i just slit a couple of the threads so theres a small hole in the top and the rifle fi

don't pay for controlling vermin as dixyhmr says, keep going buddy you will get there in the end but also try large hotels golf clubs industrial estates business parks farms horse paddocks mansion houses country clubs all of these have vermin on them defo keep at it buddy regards davy

great thanks Where is the best place to hit a rabbit?. depends on how good you are with your airgun mate, a head shot is always best but if you cant do that then a shot to the heart will drop them for sure. alot of people swear by cavity shots. What is the maximum distance for a 12ftp rifle on a rabbit?, i have finally got permission on a farm would you shoot out to 60 yards with a .177?. No. I personally wouldn't go any further than 40 yards, with any cal 12ft/lbs rifle. I have done in the past on the odd occasion. as maltenby says its personal preference

hi every one had a job cancellation today, so what better way to spend some time on one of me permissions taken when finishing ,not a very productive day but!! a day out at least 2 Today 10 Total nice little sniping spot this one R/H SIDE good sniping spot from both sides L/H SIDE this a better pic,nice rest for me hw100s and me radio,and this seat i got at the C.L.A game fare last year. when you bought a paper you got it free or something cracking little seat!!. i missed two poxy shots still getting ues to .177 happy hun

just got back rabbits 2 total today 7 first rabbit taken with digital camera 2nd rabbit taken with my shit replacement phone ,because every time my daughter takes the digital camera out she never remembers to fecking charge it and you have gest it yes the batteries ran out on it fook!!! and for those of you who have read my other posts about the 5 ginger bunnies on this particular permission well I'm pleased to say that this is the 5th one i have taken of here . although i got it in a different part of my permission i only have ever seen five so mayb
