  1. i havent lost one mate how old is it a friend of mine will probably take it on
  2. i hope its gone to a good home richy for the birds sake and if you decide you want another 1 later on try and track some one down in your area and watch him or her for a will untill you no the crack thats if your serious about it the trouble with birds of prey they arnt like a dog or a cat you can tell when they are under weight they go thin but feathers hide a hell of alot on birds and they rely on people to monitor them and look after them so if your not keen as fxxk to have one steer clear mate all the best horris

Nice one Horris its a result . just had my first one out tonight and another in pip in the Incubator, the other two hopefully should pip in the next couple of days, the pair are now down on the second clutch.... If I was you without being too greedy I would double them up if you have a Incubator or foster birds! pull the first clutch after a few days of Natural and get her to recycle giving you two clutch's in the one season! having said that some Harris's naturally doyble clutch weather pulled or not,,,, Give me a sec and I'l get some pic's up of the one just out Jasper thanks

  16. wud love 2 mate next season just let me or bullet no
  17. I hope some other lads can add there thoughts on this subject. Probably the main benefit of flying a Imprint over a P/R bird Daz is 99% of the Manning is done in the rearing! Social Imprinting is just that. you socialize with the bird constantly but have no food association with it, the idea of this is when the bird is flying it doesn't show the Bad habbits associated with Full blown food Imprints or Mal imprints, Obviousley weight control and plenty of kills is the order of the day. The problem with all Imprints though Daz is they are basicly totaly f****d in the head ! I'm not convin
  18. dont want cause any arguements between people it was between me and jasper so lets leave it at that hey
  19. You havn't got a clue have you old mate . you're the typical case of a man who thinks "He's been there and done it and worn the f*****g T-Shirt" just because you've flown a few Harris's! well I have news for you mate? your posts about Manning and trainning have given the game away big time ! you need to get back to basics, Read a few more Books and then try and put it all into practice. Have you ever sat back and considered that alot of Hawks in the wild don't need to feed everyday? some of the Broadwings can go a good few days before making another Kill includeing Red Crows! now is that b
  20. I totally agree Bob How this method can be conceived as ripping loads of weight of a bird is beyond me? The guy is only saying to give it one chick a day until SOME weight has come off her until she feeds off the fist, How the hell anyone thinks they are going to Mann a bird before it feeds off the fist with it bateing about everywhere is beyond me! you may get away with it with some Harris's taken up earley because of their gregariouse Nature! but if you take up a P/R Gos of say 10 weeks and think you're going to Mann it without getting a fair bit of weight of it you're in dream world...
  21. r ya goin on international falconry forum now bitch
  22. ok mate i understand wat ya on about now you explained you ment a spar i just dont agree with people rippin the weight off birds just so its quicker for them
  23. sorry but i dont agre with that, that is not the best way 2 do it the hole point in manning a bird is bonding with it not ripping its friggin weight down the only reason that bird will givin doing it that way is because its bloody starvin 1 chick a day how about some 1 givin you that ya would be more pist off that is bang out of order wat ya need 2 do LENSTER is sit with the bird for as long as you can there is a method of sitting with the bird until she falls asleep then for her to fall asleep in front of you she must trust you a little then and as for the food give her washed rabbit a good c
