Back when I was a kid a farmer let my family live on his field with our horses and donkeys. It was a sheep farm. One of our donkeys, Donald, used to roll the sheep onto their backs and leave them like that, and occasionally have a look to see if they were still there. My bro and I spent half our lives following Donald round, putting his victims right way up again

My partner is Aussie, he grew up in the Northern Territory and was a proper wild bushman in his younger days. He is very familiar with dingoes and dingo mix dogs, but says that first crosses are wild and unbiddable and you'd have to keep adding more domestic dog blood until there was so little dingo in them that it would be pointless

I know her claws look awful, I had to have a mate look after her for a few months and this was my first walk with her when I got her back.
