Was it not the Nethertonian strain (from Dudley) of Stafford that had the red nose and this same very strain that went to the states and was used in most fighting dogs? Its said that all red nose PB's would go back to this famous strain.

I wouldn't have said that most of them where even that good! My personal experience with "Irish Staffords" has been a journey littered with untrustworthy dog dealing, money grabbing scumbags, who should be ashamed of themselves. The lies I heard told and then heard repeated like they were gospel was outrageous. Just an observation from a Yorkshire Terrier owner Bloody good points SS, very few were awarded the holy grail of being called game dogs, but everyone today assume they all were.

Fanny...Ali would have wiped the floor with Tyson....Ali fought all the big hitters....Foreman, Norton, Fraser to name a few....Most of the fighters Tyson fought in his heyday were over the hill and had glass jaws. I think Tyson was a machine and at his best would have destroyed most. Eubank was a great fighter but was never the same after the Watson fight IMO, (ALWAYS HELD SOMTHING BACK AFTER). Nigel Ben was a great fighter to watch and had he lived a cleaner lifestyle i think he would have been a bit much for Eubank, thats all i think ever seperated those two great boxers. As

Would love to have seen Ali (the scummy musi) go up against a young Tyson, reckon hed be f****d myself. Joe Calzagi was a game fighter IMO.
