Yes I get we were already through but given the level of talent we have in every position surely some of theses lads would of thought I have to be in that squad come the tournament and starting so I have to turn up tonight and show up not go through the motions but we're through

To my untrained eye they have looked over the last two games like there was a lack of energy or like any urgency in there passing even when they went behind they are playing Malta and Moldova at the end of the day and a one point even going in to the opposition half were playing the ball more back to pickford than rashford or wakins im not expecting to roll teams six seven nil every game but given the level of opposition and the team he had out I would of thought they would of made things a bit easier for themselves over those 2 games

I totally agree but the way there set up suppresses most of them any manager in Europe would love this group of players I think a manager that was a bit less defensive and allows players to express themselves more would get much more out of this squad

I said this a while ago theses last two games prove it against sides we should easy beat Malta we struggled against it showed a player from Notts county warming up behind a England bench full of first team premier league starters imagine what a coach that wasn't so defensive could do with that squad of players

I agree it will be interesting to see what punishment city or Chelsea get if found guilty but I like them lower leagues games even park games they are a great watch full hearted challenges going in no rolling around decent honest lads playing to there max and enjoying it
