  1. Hey Guys. I'm currently going though the process of my reluctant sale of my Vitara, as due to a caring commitment which is unfortunately quiet a distance away from me, so I am looking for a replacement car, so a swap/part exchange is a possibility. Suzuki Vitara 1.6 8v JLX Automatic transmission, with 4x4 capability (not the freewheeling sort where you have to get out the car, either) 100,600 miles on the clock, 9 years of service records and full service history. (Possibly more). 9 Months MOT, 3 Months tax. Very cheap to insure. All four tires where bought as new l
  2. Don't worry dude, it sucks. I lost my only deer stalking permission to someone off a different forum, who I took out for a day's stalking (free of charge). He went back within a few weeks, and put a bid on the shooting rights (Vs my nothing, as that's all I could afford, I just use to try and stay friendly and do a bit of tree/trap work when I could). But, because of that I ended up getting 2,000 acres of pigeon shooting. It's not going to be worth much till May, when those drillings go in I'll have nothing but work and shooting to worry about!
  3. SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD A nice break barrel .177 with a few minor superficial scratches to the varnish. Only a year old from new. Works very well and to a high power, great gun for shooting any suitable quarry (Rabbits, Squirrels, Crows etc). Bought for shooting round a farm, I've had my fun and I wish to sell to clear up some cabinet room (Kiddies in the house so I keep air-rifles locked up). All this for a mere £65! or posted to your door at buyers cost!
  4. Ferreting as a one man team can be a pain, managing nets, catching rabbits and keeping an eye on the ferret all at once can end up getting confusing. The one thing I'd really recommend is that you survey each warren before ferreting. make sure that all exit holes are with-in realtive reach, and the ferret won't end up going somewhere that will be a pain to reach (under a mass of rocks, other side of a ditch, under a fence etc).
  5. It's the bad days, that make the good days, even better.
  6. I have a strech of permission with two highseats on it. I took a friend down to do a tad of fallow stalking yesterday, and dropped him off in the further highseat, and then walked down two my recently moved second (double) highseat. And guess what. The bloody thing was gone, the ratchet straps where there, but that was about it. Guessing from it's position I'd say that it must have something to do with who shoots the next field, because that's the only place off my permission that you can see that highseat. So, If anyone here's anything about anyone trying to sell a Green, q
  7. There's a massive picture in the topic already.
  8. SOLD PENDING THE USUAL Few years old. Cycles without issue. Don't know about the origins of the moderator, but It works well. Collected in South Norfolk.
  9. The ferreting gear is sub-sold, I am waiting for collection from someone, but he is proving to be so unreliable with his dates and other infomation I'm going end up canceling the sale if it was not for his deposite, he's got a few days to try and pay and collect in full, otherwise it'll go to the next person along.

I'll contact you if this happens

  12. ASE UTRA S5 sound moderator (not Ultra, can someone edit the title)? It has been fitted on my .243, but I believe it is suitable for up to .30cal, threaded in 1/2 UNF, and is made from stainless steel. It's in very good nick, a few stains and scraches and such on it from where tree's and such have rubbed against it, but there are no dents etc. Less than 200 rounds through it, which has given it peek sound moderation. They are £275 + postage + RFD fee's, new from there website. I would like £200. Many thank Andrew *edit* I will also consider a swap / part e

  14. Can anyone let me know about the revelent laws about Seine Netting in the sea using a hand-held 40ft net? (In England) I've got no idea if it's legal or not, or if so what restrictions and I'm pulling my hair out trying to find any infomation on the internet.
  15. Ant.

I'm sorry but I've got to rush off (leaving now), because someone very close to me has been taken to hospital. I've got no time to sort this out as I'm about to travel 300 miles.

I'll contact you when I'm back.

    Hope you understand.

    Many thanks

  16. Ant.

I will ring you tomorrow (If I remember).

How does £250 posted sound? - I know that seems alot but the longnet bag is rather large and a really unusual shape.

Unfortunatly I'm not techo-minded enough to understand paypal, but I would accept either a check or cash in recored delivery.

    Many thanks

  17. For now I won't split. I'm selling everything, I've got to move house for a new job, and I can't take the ferrets with me, I'm selling the gear to get a few last minute pennies together to help out with the deposit. I really don't want to sell this, so i reserve the right to pull out if I can figure a way out not too. Anyhow. Ferret Finder Mk3 Orange + 1mk3 collar + 2mk3m collars. A Bunch (25 I think) 10z purse nets, some with pegs, and some random 6z and 4z ones in there. 50yard Quickset longnet with bag, about a year old. A Jack-pike bag to carry it all in (Straps attac
  18. for castration, do I have to wait till they come of heat, as there bollocks are the size or marbles at the moment.
  19. I've got Three large whole Hobs, who, to be frank stink to hell and can't be touched without making your hands smell too. (In the summer). I know this is because they are on heat etc and to be honest they live in a big hutch at the end of the garden, so it's never bothered me - and it's not the hutch that smells, it's them. I've attempted washing, but they end up stinking just as bad a few days afterwards. Anyhow, I'm now looking to move, and unforunatly it looks like the garden is going to be much smaller - so more consideration has to be taken into controling there odor - I was wonder
  20. I've just built the ferrets a nice bigger hutch and run (about 2.5mx1.5x1.5m) which is much larger than there previous run. Anyhow they've now got the habbit of doing poo's everywhere, and not in a nice little pile in the corner as they used. Needless to say it's only been two days and they've madea right state of things. What should I do to get them poo in the corner again?
  21. Sitting out in the garden having a BBQ with the Girlfriend, she leaves a nice big steak rind left over. Being stuffed I deside to offer the two piece of rind to my three ferrets. First ferret takes the smallest part, and the second one goes in for the bigger part, I then realise that the smallest ferret wouldn't get any and I better break the rind in half, So I with draw the rind. Yep, big mistake. The ferret then lunges after the rind, misses, and bites my finger, misses the finger nail by about 1mm and goes straight through. Yep, needless to say I deserve it. Fortunatly I'm
  22. What's your reasoning into believeing that?
  23. Read it about it from the link here.http:/news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8598386.stm
  24. It's also worth noting that the MK3M is (apparently) Waterproof.
