    well at 9months nd 3weeks my dog caught his first rabbit,wasnt intentional as hes still young and il still be holding as hes still growing, but tuesday night he bolted after a rabbit turned it and retrieved it live to hand.....yes i was chuffed, jst thought id post it on here,was just nice to see the training has paid of,happy hunting folks

    like the dog mate,its the same age as mine hes 10mnth on tuesday hes beddi/grey x collie grey,i also hav a beddi/ whipp hes 7yrs now slowed up alot,still loves it though,hope he does you well

    nice one mate,did you buy it painted or do it yourself,i remember years ago my uncle getting a few of these in plain white,...i decided to paint it several years ago in memory of one of our dogs,cheers

    i done a couple of owls, but never done it since, they were water based paints i was using,i will try put pics of the owls on in the post in general forum,since this is a running dog forum,and would like to see if anyone has an idea were i could get some,thanks mark

    hi folks,was just wondering if you lads/lassie lurcher owners know of any good suppliers,i was thinking of doing one as a gift,felt it was better posted on this forum as more lurcher owners looked at it? this one was plain white like a marble/granit type mold? i did it of one of our old dogs 3/4 grey 1/4collie....cheers folks

    well said gizmo the litter mines was from,was beddi whipp x beddi whipp,the pups were very similar,and were all racey compared with straight 1st crosses as they seem to vary a bit somtimes,good little dogs all the same

    I think you missed the point really but,the only way a catch can be evaluated is if the run is seen ,ie from start to finish.For example was it given law ? If so how much 80yds a 100yds ,or was it a kickup? As for me ,if I gave a shit ,I might point out that the hare in the picture looks to have been taken early in the year, ie before the season , and the other hare has been lamped , a few lamped rabbits, and a couple of ferreted ones. do not mean so very much .Just be happy with your dogs and don't throw out silly challenges to people you do not even know, one of them might just take you up
