  1. Hello mate! Firstly welcome to the forum and i hope you can solve the problem from the info you will find on these pages. I currently have a Theoben Evolution for sale. I am selling this rifle for my father, who swears by it for accuracy and userbilty. Try striping the rifle down and giving it a good service. There might be some grit or dirt on the trigger sears, these should be completey clean. And by no means should you grease or oil them (dangerous). If this doesnt help the graunchy trigger, you could get get a trained gunsmith to polish the sears for you. Dnt try to do this yourself as
  2. Hey mate. I think all rimfire silencers are built to cater for the larger .22 bullets. So you can buy i 'rimfire' silencer and it will cater for all the rimfire calibres. Its the same case with airguns. All airguns are supplyed with silencers that will accept .177 and .22 pellets, excluding .25 pellets. This is simply so that you dont have to own seperate silencers for each calibre. Hope this helps. Cheers
  3. Hi people. I am on the look out for another .17hmr rifle. I currenty have a CZ american .17 with a adjustable butt pad, swivel studs and a brooks trigger kit. However the rifle is not screw cut, but i will include a parker hale thread adaptor. This device basicly clamps tp the end of the barrel and provides a 1/2unf thread for a silencer. I am on the look out for either a CZ VARMINT IN .17 OR a Anshutz 1517 .17. I am happy to do a part exchange and pay a little extra for a good rifle. The rifle i would like would need to have swivel studs and be screw cut. I can asur

  10. I have for sale my great condition Theoben Evolution. I have had this for about 3 months and am only selling it to finance my new rifle. It is in great condition and is the beech stock model with the 10 inch barrel. The silencer is the evolution silencer with the vortex end cap. The rifle comes with the mounts and a ags sapphire 4x40mm scope. I would like £250 for the lot. I have been a devoted reader of this magazine for a long time. It has provided me with lots of helpful and usefull info and i have learnt many things from the journalists. I am also very thankfull for all the well written and well produced articles on rifles, scopes, shotguns, and all manner of equipment that has been reviewed and tested. Also the quality of photographs and diagrams is great to. So heers three cheers for 'SHOOTING SPORTS'
  13. Would you take £30 posted?
  14. Hi!! Like the others say. The HMR or the WMR are neither appropriate fox calibres. However if like me you have only been granted a maximm calibre of .17HMR then it will do the job out to 100 yards if you can guarantee a precise head shot (lower brain stem). If you can apply for a variation to get a centrefire rifle. Iv herd the .22-250 will cleanly kill foxs out to 400yrds. Hope this helps. Cheers
  15. Would you consider a swap for a nearly new ags truhunter 3-9x50mm scope and an xtra £20? Cheers
  16. Thats a gorgeous rifle, what calibre is it and what is the make of the silencer? Well done mate! Cheers
  17. Il up load some pics tomorrow for you mate. Cheers
  18. I have for sale a nearly new AGS Truhunter 3-9x50mm scope. I have just treated myself to a new scope so i am selling this to pay some of the money back, the scope is in great condition. Comes in original box with lens cloth and instructions. A great scope for low light use as the 50mm objective lens lets in lots of light. The mil dot reticle helps compensate for bullet drop and the easy adjust finger turrets help to zero the rifle. £40 or nearest offer. Cheers
