    Yeah, well I actually mentioned to the captain here how much I enjoy this board and how I wouldn't mind getting transferred here and he said that if I want to be a tankerman and get that experience I really need to get on another boat because this one isn't good for that. They might think one barge a trip where as other might do 10 per trip. Also the other captain who's about this get one apparently is a friggen asshole and he said I wouldn't learn anything under him . He did say he's more then happy to put in a good word for me at the office and advise them to get me on a good training boat.

    The two captains on this boat are super cool. On my boat if your not the mate you just not allowed to be in the wheelhouse...or really talk to the main captain, honestly I avoid the guys like the plague, but these guys.     So these are cool. Their jack up boats. They can go all the way up to the white caps of the or rigger legs . According to the guys their used for engineering work.

    Just woke up and we're pushing on though the bayou now. Pretty cool first time I've been in a actual Bayou not just. Swamp so neat. Feel like I'm in a damn horror movie
