My mate has one and she's a very good bitch. She's the only one I've seen work but I've also heard good things about this cross. Atb Adam

you probably have the about the same chance as a terrier dropping in mate, it depends on the dog. some more steady types will probably make good ferreting dogs and some would will scream there heads off, teckels are hounds so they can be quite vocal.
True that mate. I've always been interested in them i love how ballsy they are for their size. All the best with them anyway mate. Adam

I've always liked a teckle but they go for crazy money don't they? They ever drop in on rabbits mate? That would be my concern while out ferreting. Atb Adam

Two people have dropped out on these pups so there's 2 bitches available. They will be 4 weeks old on Friday. Atb Adam

yes... it's a Jill mate. . . 1st time out this morning. . came out a with the furry mittens behind the bunny. I didn't try the hobs because I wanted to avoid digging. one or two of the other kits from the litters have also been down below and showed good signs so far.
It's the 1st warm-blooded rabbit this little un has had its teeth into. . . It really liked it a lot... lol.
Excellent vin. How old will they be now mate? I've two jills here 4 months old I was going to start them beginning of next month. Atb Adam

Well that could be the case but you never know, I dropped in lucky a 3 years ago was at country show doing ferret racing got talking to the chap doing the hurdle making he was flogging his finders and collars and all wanted was 40 quid, I bit his arm off, 2 mark 1's with 3 collars and a Mark 3 with one collar
That is a bargain mate, if you hear of anymore like that let me know lol . Atb Adam

I'm getting really itchy feet, just back back from turkey and I said to the missus on the plane that I'm so tempted to get them going early.
Go for it mate it's not like you've been going all through the summer, we just getting the dogs out a couple of weeks earlier that's all. A lot of people have started back. I ain't classing myself as starting back until Sept but I've got the dogs out once ferreting last weekend and maybe if this rain stays in I might get them out once on lamp next weekend but if not I'll wait until the next wet weekend. No harm in that mate. If we keep waiting until September/October We'll only be ferreting two months a year before you know it with this global warming climate change crap. Atb Adam

Keepers caught a team of 3 the other day ...ferreting with dogs in the middle of the afternoon...Sun was baking the dogs and ferrets and they had a right sweat on trying to dig the ferrets out of a nest of baby rabbits. . . . . Wankers in my opinion.
Aye right there no good in the afternoon, good job I went very early in the morning when it was nice an cool. Dogs loved it and didn't break a sweat. Was back in car on my way home by 9. Atb

It easy enough to get out with the ferrets but with the lurchers even a long walk in these temperatures has there tongues down too there knees they could get a good run in the rain today who know when we will get more there now talking about the hot weather returning but no sun so i think that makes it very humid the worse kind of heat
I know mate I really hope their wrong. We've had a good summer now time for the colder weather to start back so we can all get back out tidy. Atb Adam

I was going to have a bit of a go today to try to get a few rabbits for the young ferrets but its raining so im going out with the dogs for the afternoon and leave it till tomorrow
I can't fault that mate. My two new kits are over the moon with my catch from the weekend. Can't wait until their old enough to be out doing it themselves though. Atb Adam

Seasons end earlier now these days as there's young about a lot earlier so no harm in starting back a little earlier. Aslong as your not blowing the dogs out in the blareing sun. Nice and cool 5.30 in the morn so few runs and home. If the dogs and ferrets are happy, I'm happy. Atb Adam
