I cannot believe I am following this thread up with more bad news. After setting the new gun zero at 25mt, and taking my pal to go for a few ferals which he did well and built his confidence up after all the issues, today was the first day he has had free so off to one of our perms to work on holdover positions BUT checking zero at 25mt, the pellet was not even on the paper and in fact it was shooting approx 6'' low and to the left.  My pal thought he must have nudged the scope either putting it in it's case or taking it out so time to set zero again.................................. not possible to get two pellets within 20mm of eachother.

He packed it all away and off to the rfd who tested it on the Skan chrono,   15 pellets and no two the same, 9.3 - 11.6fpe.  Needless to say the rfd had a few shots in their range, pellets were not feeding properly and a perfect shotgun pattern.  After several very heated phone calls to Sportsman from the rfd and my pal, they were told to stick it where the sun don't shine. My pal was told it sounds like a reg issue............................they have had quite a few reg problems with the Impact, NOW they say.

Bottom line, the gun is being returned to sportsman and a new Crown is being given with cash adjustment plus an extra mag, the crown uses a different reg so hopfully no problems but we wait with a certain concern as to the outcome.  Now 4 months since this first started, not good enough in my book.

    Phil

That's a shame mate - a shitter like that can knock your confidence for a while.

I hope the Crown is spot on 🤞🏻

It looks tied on well mate and, it's aluminum so, get the arches of your feet and your hands on the outside and ride it down - you'll be on the ground in no time without splinters

I got a right bollocking for that from some H&S wanker in the 90s

  5. To be fair, he's done well for himself - he came from fairly humble beginnings and made some good money through football.

He pulled a Spice Girl when all of us would have knobbed one if we were given the chance (the ginger one when she was chubby for me  ).

I imagine that his kids are less humble but, that's probably down to the life that he's given them.

On a smaller scale, I worked my arse off (still am) so that my daughter has no idea what it's like to grow up on somewhere like my old estate.

Had a letter come through the door few weeks ago, saying that from October this yr they was stopping providing commercial car insurance....rang them up, explained that i took the vehicle off the rd in October 2019 and sorned it with DVLA..They still been taking the payments by direct debit all this time?I transferred ownership to the lads i work for 18 months ago, they pay for a policy and road tax etc... apparently i needed to ring up and cancel my original insurance policy or they will  keep taking the payments ? so they can take 4 yrs of payments and not need any proof /my signature, never received any correspondence from them to sign anything all this time..paper or electronically ???cheeky f***ing cnuts, then wanted another £50 odd to cancel the few months left on the policy....im waiting for them to contact me and see if i get my money back...i have received a letter mind saying...we hope you will still use us for any other policies in the future ...bunch of ????...

Happy to take payment...but try and get something back off the cnuts....they owe me around £1800..i wont hold my breath...and from now on,i will be checking everything on my monthly statements with a fine tooth comb...cnuts wont sting me again??

Have a word with these mate

Just been done with the same, 20yrs driving not one claim, Oct last yr someone crashed into me, not my fault, turning right at roundabout this c**t didn't stop, came out and piled into passenger side.

Insurance "recommended" accepting 50/50 I told em to piss off, I will stand in court and tell my side

My insurance went from 450 to 1400 because of open case ?????

I hate insurance companies mate - they're the modern day shysters. They'll take any opportunity to screw you for as much as they can.

Notice how the prices keep going up now year on year despite your increase in no claims :hmm:

I flat out refuse to have house or contents insurance, same with dog insurance. I pay the companies nothing but, I do put it into a separate account each month - that way it's my pay out to control if the time comes and, they make no interest from me

I was trying to have a debate on another social media platform the other week, The topic was an upcoming Pride event.

All i said was "Anyone who is not heterosexual is not contributing to the survival of the human race and therefore can not be considered normal in the eyes of Nature" This resulted in instant removal from the group, Some debate that was.

I bet they broke the keyboard going for the ban button so fast

I like that - you have to wonder how many people have seen it at the end.

The skull and crossbones on the middle crucifix is a curious thing :hmm:

It looks a mess, there’s another 21 cube of concrete to go in next week, if it was a farm yard or a yard with a workshop I’d be over the moon with it, but it’s out the back of the house

I reckon you've done a decent enough job on it mate but, I think the customer has just blocked a view and, probably some sunlight aswell........ people eh ??‍♂️

A few of our sites have posts like that but, they have railway sleepers slotted in - I did wonder if you'd be doing something like that when I saw your earlier posts.

Each to their own I suppose but, I'm not a fan of loads of concrete slabs.
