  2. Just a service,- and it did not cost much, but can't remember just how much.
  3. http://www.alanwoodknives.co.uk/ Yes baldie Alan is Brampton way. Makes the best knives. He was going to put on a display in our Countryside Marquee at this years Wolsingham and Stanhope shows but has done his back in, so can't make it. Great Pitty that. Yes Pan,- I also like Cold Steel type, but just use the Opinel now.
  4. I never had a Opinel break on me, and i use one all the time. Perhaps a one off fault in production. At the other end of prices, is the Cold Steel,- Master Hunter. Drop point Carbon V , High Carbon steel blade. Sheath Knife. Real bargain at £65 from Attleborough Accessories. Should last a life-time.
  5. My nextdoor neighbour Ken, had a raider,- one of the best we thought. It costs very little to have it taken to 12ft lb, at a gun shop. Best to get it done properly. Where are you erb ? Milburn Rod and Gun, Milburn Road in Ashington. Is a very good shop indeed for getting repairs or service on air-rifles, and not expensive.
  6. Yes but it was not up to much. Mainly salmon poaching, and a bit of rubbish about deer poaching.
  7. Its a real cracker of a dog.
  8. Opinel. Cheap but a very good blade.
  9. Its called Crimefighters,- check your areas. Is it on anywhere else. ?

  11. ITV North East region,- 11pm,- i don't know about other areas. Poaching. Take Care LongDogRunner.!!
  12. Hi CJ Long time no hear ! Good to see you back.
  13. LDR was telling me the fields had just been cut,- so it probably was a harvester. LDR poaching ? Who would have thought it eh . Seems such an honest lad.
  14. A couple of shady looking characters in the ferret ring, doing the judging,- don't you think Keeps. Seen them some-where before,- oh yes Crime Watch.
  15. It was a real good day. Good to meet you all,- and very well done Smudge. :friends:

  18. If its Wallsend area. ? I will pass you onto someone had his dog stolen,- looks very similar.
  19. yes it is Stabs. I still think a Beddy cross is worth going for. Mine is to work to fox ( flushing ). ! Cheers Stabs
  20. Hi Stabs,- yes i know its a liver condition, but i was under the impression it caused an eye problem, but i am not sure now, from your reply, but it still has to be two carriers of the copper toxicosis to cause problems.
  21. Hi Stabs,- sorry if i got it wrong, but i thought the copper toxicosis was the cause of the eye problem. ? It was the copper toxicosis i was refering to.
  22. gnipper,- you only get the eye problem if one or more of the dogs has that problem to start with, but checked out should be ok. Bedlington crosses,- are selling very well indeed. I did check out selling the pups before breeding a litter. A relative of mine is married to a gypsy and they breed this line and have a waiting list,- even though they are charging £300. Being a Gypsy may have something to do with getting a higher price, as everyone seems to think if its off a Gypsy it must be a good worker,- and perhaps they are as they do work their dogs a lot. A few other litters i know of are g
  23. Best of luck with the new dog,- looks as if it will do well for you.
  24. I have just sent an advert in for the Lurcher pups,- and there was no mention of it closing. ! Its by far the best mag on working dogs.
