    In a few years time if these two prove themselves and everything goes ok I will be looking to have a litter from these. The red dog is a line bred half x and the hairy bitch is mostly deerhound with a bit of grey and saluki. Anyone got a dog of similar breeding

    She's about 29/30 tts. Good dog to have around,works well with my bull x and Lakeland

    My deerhound x is just starting to come good. Nearly 3 years old,I've had her about a year or so. She was a nervous wreck when I got her but a different dog now. Pleasure to own,great around livestock and other dogs. Catching well now. Her sire was 1/2 grey 1/4 deerhound 1/4 saluki. Her dam was 3/4 deerhound 1/4 greyhound. My boss bred her and my mate took her. I rescued her from him and after a lot of work she's come good.

    Yeah he's a good dog. Knows his job and keeps me happy. To be honest he is no running dog really but when he gets it,it's gone

    Cheers lads,he has just turned 2. Line bred half x bred by my father in law. He has had the line for over 20 years
