auld salmon 28 Posted August 7, 2009 Report Share Posted August 7, 2009 (edited) well got no 2 last nite on a cascade with the fly rod well chuffed one hell of a fight nearly lost it ! took very lightly thought it was a wee one then it relised it was hooked after about a minute took of up the pool then back down then started running towards me and couldnt keep up with it had to start stripping line line went slack and managed to get it twisted round the top of the rod but still there then a few more runs then i realised it was a good one was oot the water a few times like a bullet the line was in the water but fish was jumping about 20ft away from it so one hell of a rush Edited August 8, 2009 by auld salmon Quote Link to post
