Well done mate , plus like your well informed answer , what's you first go to fox rifle . I must admit i've been using the .22lr with 42 grain subs more and more and calling them in.

Thanks. I only have the two rimfires now but in the past had all sorts of rifles on fox.

308, 30/30, 357, 6.5/55, 243, 222 and hornet.

They were all good. Then there are the muzzleloaders, now that is fun!

My farmer rears pheasant for rough shooting. He's asked me to shoot any foxes I see and have taken a couple with the Annie 22lr when they've put in an appearance. Now I've got me a 17 Hornet :D I'll be doing the job properly. Can't believe how accurate the thing is. Starting to look at callers and I do like the look of those mojo critter things.

I wasnt criticizing you i was asking an honest question .

However your reply is a defence of your action of shooting a fox ,which ends with " let he who without blame cast the first stone " so are you saying you have " sinned " another ancient proverb .

your first reply " shoot them " was fine, i pressume pictures of the cubs as the vixen would appear you may even get lucky and bag their aunt .

So what are you saying exactly? How would you have dealt with this farmers problems, given the fox a good telling off?
