Rowan 308 Posted December 31, 2016 Report Share Posted December 31, 2016 I had a call from a farmer who had twice seen a fox in his horse paddock , he was worried about his chickens , although shut up at the moment are a source of income for him. Headed out this morning about 0600 , really foggy/wet miserable really , called for nearly an hour but nothing about. Moved onto the main farm track and after only a couple of minutes calling with the ss fox call , a fox came trotting out of the fog about 100yrds infront of me . I changed to the original fox call to see if he would keep coming as through the scope was a unclear image in the poor conditions . He stopped about 60 yrds out and ,,,,,, fell to the shot . One thing i did realise when i was out is that i really need some new shooting sticks .. . Went to see the farmer , who was well pleased , then home for a huge fry up , happy days... 4 Quote Link to post
