  1. Lovely looking pups, can't wait to see how these turn out. Should make cracking rough cover foxing dogs, plenty of nose and drive I'd imagine. Keep us updated, all the best for the future, Finn.
  2. (This is a long one so get the kettle on!!) Hi Neal, as with a lot of things in life, for every answer there's a question. I have to say that I was under the impression that Mr Henson had imported a semen straw and bred the litter that produced the sire to our dogs. However, this may not be the case. Looking at the dates involved it seems perfectly reasonable to assume that he may have obtained a pup from one of the early AI litters bred in Scotland. As I mentioned I googled Mr Henson and found the contact details to his farm so really it's just a case of e-mailing and waiting for
  3. Neal, just googled Cottonwood Matt, nice looking dog. Any further info would be of interest. All info's good info !! Found a contact to Mr Hensons farm so just got to pluck up the courage to get in touch and try to get some details about the dogs history without coming across all weird!!! All the best, Finn.
  4. Cheers Poacher 3161. How old do you think a good dog can go on producing good pups. I would like to use a dog such as Bigland boy oover my kelpie cross but it would have to be when the times right and that may not be all that soon due to one thing or another. Finn.
  5. Howdy all, I've got some kelpie blooded stuff bred down from a dog that Adam Henson bred. I was told by the bloke who bred my dogs that he imported a seamen straw from Australia, the resulting pups, the sire to our dogs would be about 11 now I think. I've lost touch with this chap and can't find out any further info on the blood that's in em. What I'm wondering is, does anybody know how I would go about maybe getting in touch with Mr Henson and obtaining more info on our dogs. Never really done any research of this nature before and don't really have a clue where to start. Any idea
  6. How old is Bigland boy Poacher 3161 ?? Cheers, Finn.
  7. Can't guarantee any easy bunnies Vin but after all your efforts I'd have thought you'd have plenty of offers of a night out. If you're ever in Cornwall then drop me a line. Sports a bit thin on the ground at the mo but you're always welcome. Come on lads the bloke's earned a flash, if you get a spare night give him a run !! Atb, Finn.
  8. If that fella ever plucked up the courage to get down off his bunk bed then he should have been very proud of his pack !! Just wondering what happened to his little brother in the bunk below, I have my suspicions !!! Great thread this, keep up the good work all. Finn.
  9. Any recent developments on the Ultimate lamp front ?? Any lads using the Tiablo A9 kits and if so how do they fare ?? Christmas is coming and I may just treat myself !! Cheers, Finn.
  10. Possibly the best thread on here !!! Funny as fcuk !!! Looking forwards to getting my copy even more now !!!
  11. Having viewed collie/grey's photos, I was wondering if 'badgersboys' would like to add a further comment ?? Clearly a font of knowledge on all things canine. Stunning dog, would love to see how a well bred litter would turn out. Have admired these dogs for a long time. Best of luck in your future plans, the dogs a credit to you. Finn.
  12. Another bloody brilliant post (saw the second trip post first). Could read these all day long. Keep em coming. Atb, Finn.
  13. Superb post, cracking dogs. Wish I could take photos like those, I do have some great close up shots of my finger tip and 1 or 2 gooduns of the inside of my pocket, anyone interested !?! Hats off fellas, Finn.
  14. Thought I'd try and restart this thread as I reckon it's a goodun. Any updates on the dogs involved ??? All the best, Finn.
  15. If this is the same bitch that I've seen running then she's a little cracker, she's also the spit of my Beddylurcher X kelpie, for a robust, hard working, smart lurcher I'd say they're hard to beat. Pace is the only down side but only just, plenty of stuff that's found it's way into the bag probably wouldn't agree!!! All the best, Finn.
