    Had a very heated debate with a shooter last night regarding stalking deer in the rep ireland... he saying you can shoot deer with a 22/50... I dont think so any good info to be had will be of great help.. looking forward to getting the 20 pounds bet of him Hi One Shot Paddy 22-250 is the minimum legal caliber for deer in the Republic of Ireland (check on board.ie) However it is recommended to shoot .243 and over and licences can not be granted if you apply with a 22-250 Don't take the bet PW Thanks for the reply... can you apply if you hold a 223?...

    I remember that They were in an evidence bag, or an evidence bag also got thrown out at the time. I should have rephrased my argument and included the Gardai as a source of illegal firearms guess what John! more and more been given out by the psni up north....all for target shooting
