hayla-and-brett 0
hi iwas wondering if anyone cann help me? i am breeding my patterdale bitch in the nxt couple of months and want to get her pups tails docked. my vet can do it as long as i can prove they are workers. we have permission off a farmer to work my bitch on his land and thats where we work her. the vet will not accept a letter off him to say she is a working dog, and they say i need a gun licence to prove she is working. how can i prove she is a worker to get her pups tails docked as i dont own a gun and dont want her to work with guns? please help
Hollie 21
I have absolutly no idea on facts about this subject but if it were me personally i would try and ring around different vets, see what proof they require for docking tails, sounds like your vet is being akward, just because she works doesn't mean you have to own a gun!! I would try posting this in the terrier section aswell. Good luck
