Guest ferret feller

well i put my ferrets in the small hutch yesterday in the garden (USEUALLY THERE IN MY SHED) anyway about 11 pm last night i was satting on the sofa watching family guy and the spot light came one :icon_eek: jumped up expecting some cat :gunsmilie: but it was a big fook of pig :icon_eek: first one iv seen in this area for a bit he was sniffing about on my garden then stumbled over too my ferret hutch and sniffed up against the bars the ferrets came out and looked at it face too face he pushed the wire :icon_eek::censored::wallbash: i was out the door in a few seconds shouting and kicking :laugh: made him scamped off into the hedge :icon_redface: where the feck did he come from i wonder no sets round hear (built up area) im off too look in the woods now :tongue2:

The probability is its a young male thats been ousted from his family now this years cubs are getting older,he'll have to find his own "turf" or on the other hand it could be the situation we have round our way,badger groups dropping badgers in unsuitable areas,they have put a few earths in on a local golf course and dropped some, 2 farms next to it have cattle and what with Bovine TB you would think DEFRA wouldn't allow it,personally i dont think they bothered asking permission.

 

ps if it is a male he would probably be attracted to the smell of the ferrets especially if they are in season,they are both related and even dogs sometimes react to in season jills,not much will actually eat a ferret.

My mates Hob tried mounting my JRT when she was in season last spring! :laugh:

Those pups would definately get to most foxes :yes:
