I'm sure I'm not the only one to notice that this section has gone down hill recently.

 

This section used to be the best on the site IMO, and it was kept that way the members who use it, as well as mod who was firm but fair.

 

We all know CJ hasn't been on for a while for whatever reason, but there's no reason for the shit that has been going on here.

 

I ask the sensible members of this section, old & new to start ignoring the trolls, nit pickers and assholes and start using the 'ignore user' function that can be found by clicking on a profile and choosing it under options.

 

I've done this twice recently, and already the forums looking better.

BBB for instance was rude and abusive, however he was actually correct with his original post and I learned something from this. (I also learned a new insult!)

 

I think it MAY be a little narrow minded.....Not sure.

I agree malt. Maybe not the ignore button but just ignoring them myself. That way if they do post something useful on a rare occasion I can still read it. Just need to remember that I dont have the time to be spending trying to put people straight who are chatting rubbish.

It's not just that thread mate, it's been going on for a while. Stuff like piss taking out of certain younger members, not just banter either, nasty pisstaking.

 

I just feel that there's no need for some of the silliness and slagging that goes on here, no one minds constructive criticism, but there's no need to be snide about things.

 

Maybe ignoring users isn't the right way to go, there are other ways. The mods on here are only a PM away, or failing that you can always use the report post button for abuse.
