Oh tell me about it , almost impossible to get it in focus before they fly off , i find my self effing & blinding under my breath its so frustrating , the ones i postd are the same bee just different bits of the flower I did observe the bee going clockwise round each flower head , common sence i reccom to the bee Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Your bumblebee is The Garden Bumblebee (Bombus hortorum) [its the one I'll be out catching tomorrow!] The spider is some sort of hunting spider, couldn't tell you species. Recognised the fly, but had to look it up. Its a St. Mark's-fly ~ "Named because it often appears close to St. Mark's Day, April 25th" Isn't that cool? - its the 26th Today!
