nearly every whippet or whippet cross pup i see advertised all seem to have sooty sam blood in them,my mate has a whippet out of him,a small bitch but has been into most quarry doubled up,i havnt seen her do anything on her,she has the heart i think but just hasnt got the size or power-only next season will we know for sure.by what ive heard sooty sam was suppost to be a good little fox dog.has anyone else on her got a pure whippet that will kill a fox

I could be werong but i think Pennymeadow whippets is the guy to ask about sooty sam, i seem to remember him putting up a picture of the dog with some game a while ago

I have 6 Sooty Sam bred whippets they lack top class racing speed but have plenty of stamina they work well they Lure course well & some do well in the show ring hope this helps
