:realmad: The blood is starting to boil again.

Everyone must realise now that even if you dont think it can make a difference, its your DUTY and not just your right to vote.

I know many people have problems with the Conservative party after the Thatcher years, but i honestly beleive the only way to get some normallity back in this country of ours is to all vote for them at the next election.

I beleive that David Camaron even rides with hounds himself, and i think he has decent peoples interests at heart, I also pray that they will repeal the hunting act. Although that is not gauranteed, If we do not act and allow Laqbour a fourth term then i am certain that furthet legislation will be passed in the commons that will tie up any "loose ends"the hunting act might have and eliminate the excemptions thar currently exist.

VOTE CONSERVATIVE :good:

An interesting topic here guys and gals, so much so that i emailed David Cameron to ask what he would do if elected. This morning i had this reply:

Dear Mr *******

Thank you for writing to David Cameron - I'm replying on his behalf.

David Cameron believes it is clear that the current anti-hunting

legislation is not working, even in its own terms - and is making a

mockery of the law. We entered the last election promising a free vote

to reverse the ***, on a Government Bill in Government time, and David

Cameron continues to support that stance.

Thank you again for the email.

Yours sincerely,

a free vote

What does that mean?

It certainly does not sound to me if they are in power they will overturn the hunting b@n, more like they will vote to see if it should be?

Indeed MOLLY, they have worded it very carefully.

It would seem that they are not definaltey going to overturn the *** come hell or high water, but rather have a free vote, which if ( and its a pretty fecking big if ) the majority win then and only then will the *** be lifted.

Not as cut and dried as it would seem.

Your MP is your representation in the House Of Commons. We elect them to make things better for us.

If enough of us speak up and tell them that hunting is an issue that matters they will have to fight for us. It's their job.

The general lack of interest in the political process has seen this balance swing the other way. Our representatives now tell us what we should be doing and that all boils down to the landslide victories and record low turnout. They are not only biting the hand that feeds them, this hand is building their houses, fuelling their numerous cars and greasing their offshore pensions.

The time to lobby is now!

If you want to see the hunting ban legally overturned then you must vote. Contact your local parties and find out their views on the hunting debate. The candidate that states he/she wishes to vote for the ban to be repealed is the one you should be voting for.

MP's want to keep the voters happy, so they can keep their jobs and their salaries. If your MP wishes to stay in a job then the condition of your vote should be a vote on a repeal of the hunting ban. If enough hunting supporters do this then it will become an election issue. If we have the support that we claim then removing anti hunt MP's from marginal seats becomes easier and easier.

The only party that is remotely interested in our plight is the Conservative party and are currently the only party that are willing to represent us but even that will depend on how we approach them.

The anti hunting MP's are already lobbying to tighten the legal loopholes, so doing nothing is not an option. If you want to see the further restrictions on your freedoms. On shooting, fishing and exempt hunting then sit at home and don't vote.

Sending them an email is free. With the amount of shit that comes through my email inbox there is a lot of untapped lobbying potential out there and you don't even need to leave your computer.

Fellman............spot on :good:

And I have to say I disagree with the idea that MPs give a monkeys............they just have to get enough vote to get there job back and after that............they dont give a feck........they will tow the party line no matter what we say or do.

They will give you nothing type awnsers to your questions and concerns.....making sure not to upset anybody in case they need there vote next time ;)

As for David Cameron.....dont make me laugh..........that prick is Tony Blair in a blue shirt.........he will do and say anything to get power next time.

MPs dont need a big voter turn out.........they just need enough to get back on the gravy train.

Wake up and see that politics stopped being about what someone belives in and started being a career years ago.

Love or hate Maggie...........at least she stood by what she belived was right, no matter how unpopular and you have to respect that.

Sorry to say, I dont think we will ever see her like again.............no matter what party they represent.

The point is that its not that I dont care..........its that it dont matter if I do  and thats why politics is dead & a complete waste of time.

Anyway, back to the original post..........fecking scandal that they changed it.......but hey...what do you expect.
